We have had a wonderful experience at Wee Care. My husband and I moved with our 2 1/2 yr old son from out of state and the director and teachers at Wee Care really helped with our transition. Our son also went through potty training during his time at this school and they were absolutely wonderful with that big milestone as well. There is no doubt they genuinely care for the students!

Our two sons spent over four years at the Broadway location, and we could not have been happier with our experience! The directors Miss Elizabeth and Miss Angela were accommodating, flexible, and communicative. We always felt that our boys were safe, loved, and cared for by their teachers from the infant room up through PreK. They learned, made friends, and had a great time. The extracurricular like music, soccer, and dance were great. We also really appreciated its location next to Gill Park. Every nice evening it was filled with Wee Care kids — a wonderful opportunity for the boys to play with their friends and to get to know the other families. We highly recommend Wee Care!

Wee Care has been a part of our lives for six years and has been a critical part of the lives of our three kids. From the moment we walked in to Wee Care we were struck by the welcoming, family-like environment and that has only grown over time. The Wee Care teachers are thoughtful and have been remarkably consistent over the time we've been there, several of them teaching all three of our kids. Also, Wee Care's schedule is incredible for working families with a very limited number of days off providing maximum flexibility. I recommend Wee Care to everyone we talk to, and am so grateful for them! Thank you!

We attended WeeCare on Broadway for 6 years across 3 kids. We always knew our children were safe and loved, and really appreciated the consistency in their staff (all kiddos had the same infant room teachers!). The kids were also very well prepared to handle transitions to more 'formal' prek/school from what they had learned at WeeCare. As an added bonus, it's also more affordable than most other options!

We have been at Weecare for the past 7 years between my 2 children. They are wonderful and make it feel like home. The owners make sure to know every child and family and really ensure that people have a good experience. Our kids have really learned a lot and grown up so well there. we are truly grateful.

When we originally checked out the location, we were not crazy about the site but the owner was super friendly so we gave it a go. However, it was hard to get in contact with the director and no one ever picked up the phone when we called. We would get a “report card” at the end of the day but the nap times were always at the exact same times, so unsure how trust worthy they were, and didn’t contain much other information on what was happening during the day. We ended up moving to another daycare that was closer in location, better facility, and seemed more open. On hindsight our son seems much happier to go to the new child care center and we recently heard about “unsubstantiated” discipline (along with other substantiated) issues, which you can find by searching on the DCFS website. The lady at the front always was very nice and could get our son to smile but the rest of what’s going on in there is a black box, especially compared to our experience with other child care providers, which isn’t a great feeling.

Our son attended WeeCare for over three years. From our first day, they made us feel like we were a part of the community. The school is clean, organized and we felt that there was a sincere sense of compassion amongst all of the teachers and staff. Ms. Elizabeth and Ms. Angela take pride in providing a safe positive space for the kids and their families. They also have enrichment activities for the kids, such as dance, yoga and Mr. Joel from the Old Town School of Folk Music. Our son developed so much in his time there. We are so glad we chose Wee Care and will forever have fond memories.

Our son has been attending Wee Care since he was 12 months old and we can't say enough great things about it! The staff and teachers are outstanding and we know he's safe and in good hands each day when we drop him off. He has thrived and learned so much at Wee Care we know he's ready for the next chapter of his education. Any family would be lucky to have their child attend Wee Care. My wife and I sent our kids here for 3+ years and were very happy with the school, the teachers, staff, and other families we met. The kids enjoyed going to school each day and made friends there that they keep in touch with to this day. I always felt like the kids were in good hands with the teachers. Elizabeth and her staff did a great job reacting to the curveball of the COVID pandemic, implementing safety protocols and getting the school running again as soon as was reasonable. Overall, we were happy to have been a Wee Care family and highly recommend the school to others.

My two children attended Wee Care on Broadway for more than three years. They each started at age 2 and my oldest aged out in order to attend kindergarten (and the younger one went with for PreK)During our time at Wee Care both kids felt incredibly supported by, cared for, and inspired by their teachers. As a family, we took many of our Wee Care friendships with us, as well. Having families come from the surrounding neighborhoods, in addition to the proximity to Gill Park, provided us with a great sense of community. We're thrilled to run into our fellow former Wee Care families on a regular basis while out and about.Lastly, we appreciated how Wee Care strived to provide us with a safe and consistent environment at an affordable rate. Childcare costs can be extremely challenging, and not only did Wee Care take that into mind, they were consistently open during the year without long outages forcing families to scramble for alternative childcare.Covid hit before our kids graduated Wee Care, and I could tell the level of care and thought that went into navigating what was an unpredictable time for all. Childcare is a personal decision but my family of four was happy with our time at Wee Care.

We loved our time at Wee Care! If we hadn't moved out of the city, we would've been here for the long haul. As it was, our daughter was one of the first students at the 2nd location. The teachers and the front office care deeply about these kids and you can tell in the way they run the place. We would highly recommend that you send your kids here!

Finding the right daycare for your child is not easy, especially when it is your first. There are so many options out there that it can become overwhelming. I did my research and met with 5+ daycares and of all the options I felt best with WeeCare on Broadway. Ms. Angela met my husband and I before operating hours to give us a tour of the facility and a sense of comfort. Our daughter started as a student at 3 months and has evolved into a social active butterfly. All of the infant room teachers, Ms. Jasmine, Melissa, Maria, and Isela are so wonderful with our daughter. There are daily pictures posted, weekly activities and outdoor walks if the weather permits. We are only leaving this establishment because we are relocating to the suburbs and I almost contemplated reverse communicating we love this place so much. If you are looking for a safe, nurturing, fun, active and attentive daycare for your child then look no further than WeeCare Broadway! Hats off to Ms. Elizabeth and Ms. Angela for running such a great place! We will truly miss being apart of the community.

This is hands down the best preschool in the city. My daughter has attended the Lakeview/Broadway location for the last few years and loved it so much that she would ask everyday, even the weekends, if she was going to school. Now as a (recent)5 year old, she is further than some of her other pre-K/kindergarten peers and is even ready to start reading. Ms Elizabeth and Ms Angela are fantastic directors and a great reference for parents. All of my daughters teachers were exemplary. At the age of 2, and just a short time after starting at WeeCare, they recognized that my daughter was a bit delayed in her speech. Something as a first time mom with no reference would have realized as quickly. Within 2 weeks they had me connected with a speech therapist who would come to the school and help my daughter. How amazing that with her fantastic teachers and the staff there, my little girl did not fall behind but end up excelling. For anyone considering a preschool in the Lakeview area, this is the place to go.

I cannot recommend this school highly enough. My children have attended Wee Care on Pine Grove for the last 4 years, and both started in the infant room at three months old. We toured the school with Ms. Ramona and knew immediately that it was the right place for our kids. The wonderful experiences we’ve had over the past four years provide daily confirmation that we made the right choice. Ramona, Elizabeth and all the teachers care deeply about the children, and go above and beyond to provide a fun, nurturing environment. We especially appreciate the extra precautions the school has taken in the last year to keep families safe, but also to provide some much needed normalcy for our kids during a challenging year.
