Shame on this store. I visited at 6:05 pm on a Saturday afternoon. There was a man in a wheelchair attempting to enter the store. However, the normal door that has a handicap open button was not working and the security guard on duty was attempting to force him to use the revoling door. There was one normal door open, so I opened it for the gentleman from the inside. The security guard scolded me, saying I need to take that up with management. And he proceeded to lock both normal doors that have handicap open buttons. Well, hello management! I'm letting you know this is an ADA violation. Your security guard locked all normal doors with handicap open buttons. I do intend to make this an incident report.

Awful customer service. Managers don’t know how to do things that stores should be able to do (that other locations actually do). Please hire competent managers.

Please please please do not use their photo department. I went here to have film developed and asked if they were able to developed 35mm half frame color photos from my reusable disposable camera, and they said yes and started the process. The girl that was setting up my order was either new or had never been trained in the camera department because she was having a really hard time setting up the order. When the manager came over, he just spotted her instead of guiding her on the process. They took my film and had me pay on the spot (which I wasn't aware, was the wrong thing to do) and then gave me a day and time to come back (which was 5 days later). When I returned for my photos, they were nowhere to be seen and the worker I had that day began questioning me as to why I paid on the spot because they apparently couldn't track my order given that I already paid. 2 weeks AFTER my appointment day, I was still UNABLE to even locate my film aside from it being processed and was being told over the phone DAILY to just wait another day. Finally I had a friend's father call as a favor and miraculously, they found the film. I went to pick it up and they told me their developing company could not develop the photos, which would have been amazing to know right when they decided they couldn't, but instead, I waited 3 weeks to get my film back (not even the photos, I didn't care about those at this point). Also, when I picked them up, they just handed them to me and never refunded me like they said they would. The kicker of it all? When I opened the envelope to take out my film, IT WAS PROCESSED. FULLY PROCESSED AND READY FOR PRINTING, so they completely lied to me and withheld my film for 3 WEEKS. Now, let's get to present day, I was able to get individual scans of all of the photos and made an order on their website (hoping to god that they couldn't mess up just printing jpegs) to get them printed "same day". After placing the order, the recipient email said that the earliest I could get them was 8pm the same night but that I could pick them up any time after that. I went back to the Walgreens the next day at 10am to get my photos, and the manager told me that I could pay for them then but that they had to be printed (what?? Why were they not already printed? That's what I want to know). When I asked him how long it would take to have them printed, he said an hour. Which is a ridiculous amount of time for them to print photos that should have already been ready. My friends and I had plans that day, so we left, planning on coming back later. My friend took my PAID receipt back about 4 hours later, and the lady at the counter told him that I had missed 2 (unannounced) appointments to have them printed (which was never made known by the manager who had me pay earlier) and that they had to reprint them. Literally where did the prints go from earlier?? And then she tried to blame my friend and I for not following up with them which was literally what my friend was trying to do, and said that we were supposed to have stayed the entire time they were printing, which was again, never made known earlier. She THEN printed them, which took 5 MINUTES, NOT AN HOUR, and tried to make him pay for them even though I paid earlier. And I know, regardless of the purchase receipt he gave her to prove it, she was aware that I paid because when I went the first time and paid upfront, it was listed that I had paid, which was the issue in the first place. So please DO NOT get your pictures processed OR printed at this location. They will blame you for their lack of effort and keep your film when they don't know what to do with it.

What a sorry excuse for a pharmacy. I’m coming to you as someone who worked the closing shift at a retail store for many years. Walking home I had a pretty bad headache, thankfully I had some emergency Tylenol, but nothing to take it with. Seeing as it was 10 minutes before closing, I decided to pop in. Before I even got a foot in the door, I was greeted by a worker saying “can’t you see we’re closed”. I was really confused and said, “sorry I thought you guys were open till 10, I just wanted to grab a water bottle”. To which the worker shut the door in my face. Now I understand all it takes to close, but this is a pharmacy, not a Zara. Maybe Walgreens should teach human decency, along with proper closing etiquette, I could teach the class if needed.

Passport photo folks need training. My photograph was improperly sized due to the store associate standing too far away from me, requiring me to obtain a new photograph and resulting in my passport application being rejected.

You can’t hire people….WE GET IT!! - Get a self checkout machine, the whole world has one!!! It’s 7:30 AM on a random Wednesday and the line is around the store and down the aisle (picture attached) this is absurd to wait 30 minutes for an energy drink!! Horrific

Only one cashier was working but sitting down of course and the other cashier acted like she didn't even see the line getting longer she had to be told to help ring out and she pretty much was just standing at the front behind checkout

I recently ran into an altercation with this store last night around 9:55 PM (April 16th, 2022) where right outside this store on W Madison St, I was robbed at gun point. Bystanders did not want to help nor get involved, so my next instinct was to run inside this Walgreens for help. The security guard working around this time was extremely helpful and empathic about my situation and was assisting me in calling 911. On the other hand, I believe the store manager (red hair) had a different reaction where she was extremely rude about what just happened and made offensive comments regarding my situation. It did not help when she basically blamed me for putting myself in that situation. When officers arrived, she was more persistent on having us leave her store so she can leave, rather than just checking in. Having a gun in my face wasn't easy and her total attitude on the situation did not help.

Big love to the security guard on duty tonight, who saw me struggling to carry my arm load of first aid while favoring a badly cut finger. Her thoughtfulness made my night and was much appreciated. Give her a raise!
