so incompetent. do they realize that customers know that they pick up the call just to immediately put it on hold again till it times out? how can this place be this mismanaged. genuinely, even when it’s not busy this happens. either the technicians are not properly trained (again management). literally embarrassing to be this bad of a pharmacy on their end. do your job. it really isn’t that hard man.

Epically mismanaged. Long wait times, difficult communications, refill delays, and somehow they manage to mess something up with my Rx almost every month. Most recently I got an email saying my prescription was ready, but when I made the trip there the next day, I was told that it was out of stock. How does that even work? I’m glad my particular Rx isn’t a life-or-death medication, because if it were, I’d be too dead to write this review.

The worst Walgreens pharmacy in Chicago. The rudest staff in the business! Definitely going to cvs from now on.

The Pharmacy in this place is a big problem, rude staff they leave u on hold for more than hour and that’s me hanging up, because I got tired of waiting. They don’t even take a second to greet and say hold for a minute, they just keep putting you on hold over and over. This is so unacceptable for the elderly people. This happen on Oct 19, at 11:09am it’s 12:11 my mother is still on hold. CVS here we go.

What's going on Walgreens!! stop picking up and putting people on hold for over a hour wow. You can hear when they pick up and immediately put you back in hold. I drove there while still on hold just to see what's going on.. absolutely nothing the store is not packed no one was at the pharmacy. So I see phone ring the lady picks it up and puts it on hold so I ask her excuse ma'am but that's me calling and no one is here so it's not bz..I had drive here to change my prescription to another place instead of doing over phone because all she kept doing is picking up phone and putting it on holdC'mon corporate step in .. there's alot of people looking 4 work obviously the one's you have at this store not appreciating their jobs. MANAGEMENT SHOULD BE ACOUNTED FOR ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY'RE THERE ALLOWING THISGet these people fired and get a new staff that want 2 work

Had a 645 appointment for the family to receive flu vaccine. Told us to come back at 715 because the pharmacist was going to lunch. Now I understand they could be short staffed….and it’s only 30 minutes…. But no apology and it’s 30 minutes of having to walk around the store because it made no sense to go home and come back.

Rude staff that never answer the phone (they repeatedly put you hold until the system automatically hangs up on you). I tried to bring up this concern in person, politely, and I was immediately sassed and told "Well why don't you apply here then?" even though I had just said that I had difficulty contacting them. This has been an issue for over a year and it seems like, despite regularly changing staff, their practice of never answering the phone persists. Must be poor leadership. Finally decided to change pharmacies after a year of poor communication and rude staff.

transferring my prescriptions to a different Walgreens pharmacy. First of all, I HAVE to use Walgreens because it's what accepts my insurance. But I'm no longer visiting this location, even though it's the closest to my home, for several reasons. The first, it's impossible to get in touch with them. I've been on hold for a full 30 minutes before I finally hung up. I had an issue that needed to be resolved over the phone-- to save me making multiple trips to the store-- but I had to drive in just to ask the question anyway. And that would have been okay with me, honestly. I get it. They're busy/short staffed, etc. Although, I'm not sure what pharmacy rush hours all, but I've tried calling at all different times of day and it's impossible to get anyone on the phone. I can also repeatedly hear me being taken off hold, and then put back on hold without ever getting in touch with anyone. The second, and primary reason that I'm no longer using this location is that one of the pharmacists that is often there is just incredibly rude. And I know what you're thinking, they're being rude because I'M being rude because I'm frustrated or whatever, but I promise you, that's not the case. I've worked a myriad of odd jobs, including customer service, retail, etc. I know what it's like and I know that most of the variables that are frustrating to the customer are not the employees fault. But this woman is just plain rude. Right from the get-go. Her tone and behavior is incredibly unprofessional. I went in to check on the status of one of my prescriptions because it said in the app that I needed to call the pharmacy about something--couldn't get them on the phone-- so I went in and this woman was immediately rude to me after I politely explained what I was there for. The medication was out of stock (apparently, they're always out of stock with multiple medications here). She said it was on "backorder." I knew that wasn't her fault so I said okay and was attempting to ask a follow-up question to see if it was possible to get it filled at a different Walgreen's location. She kept cutting me off before I could get my full sentence out, and I'm a very passive and non-confrontational person, so it was pretty easy for her to do so. She eventually, in a very condescending tone, explained to me in an infantilizing and snide tone that-- "yeah it's on BACKORDER. so no, you can't get it ANYWHERE, because it's on BACKORDER." Clearly, she thought I was stupid for not understanding her first snide remark about the drug being on backorder. I'm not an idiot, I just needed clarification on what that meant precisely in regards to the supply of the medication I needed. I've been in there several more times and this woman is almost always there, and she continues to be incredibly rude, for absolutely no reason. I'm chronically ill and getting my prescriptions when I need them is really important to me, my overall well-being, and my capacity for functioning as a person-- and I never speak to people that way. Perhaps this woman should look into a position at the pharmacy that requires less interactions with customers-- since she clearly despises it so much.

This Walgreens is by far the best one I’ve been too in the city. I was considering switching to a cvs or Costco because Previous Walgreens in the city would take up to two days+ to prepare my prescriptions. Not here! I had my script sent over and within an hour it said it was ready on my Walgreens app. Staff is always friendly and helpful. 10/10
