Great pharmacy on the second floor of northwestern hospital, Lavin family pavilion. Always has my rx in stock. Easy to get to a person to talk to. They honestly make my life easier. By far the best Walgreens I’ve been to in the three states I’ve lived.

Always a long line and understaffed. Always seem to mess up my refills requiring a return visit. Phone - joke. Takes forever to get to voicemail and then they never return the call.

Jason McMullen the pharmacist was Incredibly rude over the phone. He refused to answer any questions about prescriptions and just repeated himself over and over again. I'm not sure on his last name spelling as he refused to spell it, repeating "just how it sounds." I'm a paraplegic in dire need of my medication and this shouldn't happen to ANYONE....

The pharmacy manager was so patient and kind while training a new employee. I loved to see the positive reinforcement. The pharmacy was clean and ran very well.

It wouldn't kill the lady at checkout to be more engaging with the customers. I think her name was 'carol' or 'caryl'. Whoever was checking out at 11:40am monday the 16th also, she didn't even give me the right receipt.

I am very pleased with the care that I received at Northwestern Hospital. The pre-op, operative, & post-op care was the best that I've ever received. I highly recommend Dr. Hardt as an examplary ortho surgeon, & Northwestern Hospital for their conscientious and caring staff. The next time that I need surgery, it will definitely be at Northwestern Hospital.

This the second time I had the unfortunate experience of bringing my wife to Northwestern emergency room. Average wait time is between 6 to 7 hours. I came in at 11am and was not admitted until 3am the following day. My wife had an acute condition and was told by her primary go to Northwestern ER, but we still waited. There should be an acute ER for individuals with acute conditions and then another ER For the individuals that have strain/sprains and head colds. After the second ER experience I changed my medical group to Doctors out of University of Chicago. Much better and professional experience. And actually it is a much higher ranked hospital. Also the gate keepers gals at Northwestern ER are rude and insensitive.

Have been debating leaving a review on here but I see others have had a similar experience so here goes... Many years ago I went to the ER here because of a debilitating headache that came on suddenly. Despite that fact (and the fact that I told the attending doctor that I had a family history of cerebral aneurysms) the doctor literally treated me like I was a crackhead chasing a high, even asking me if I ever used cocaine before prescribing some ibuprofen. Not sure if this hospital just has issues with treating "certain people" but I went to another hospital that not only treated me decently, actually ran tests to make sure that what I had wasn't life-threatening just based on my family history. I don't ask for much, but being treated like a human being is at the top of my list. Not only will I never go here again under any circumstance I won't recommend it, either.

I have been going for 3 years. Procedures, surgeries and inpatient stays. This is not a place to go to be cared for. They do not listen to you. It is disconnected patient care. All about money and procedures, get you in and out. Have an issue good luck. You are on your own. I often referred to it as prison care. Meaning, I felt like a prisoner without support of anyone. I had to be hospitalized after surgeries my heart was stressed afib. They scared me into getting on a medication that I would need to be inpatient to get on. 4-5 days. The 4th day I was so over medicated my B/P 90/40 HR 40s I pleaded with them to lower the dose. It's too high. Not comfortable taking it. THEY DID NOT LISTEN. The next day. I was to be discharged, I was told I need to stay another day and medication needs to be lowered. Prison care. Locked down in the system for another day and night. Knowing, I was unheard. Did they care? No. After, I was so upset. Stating, I begged no one listened. One Dr said I would of listened to you. Ok sure. I don't believe you. I have many more just like this I'm going to continue to share so others do know we have choices. NORTHWESTERN is not the BEST. AND PATIENTS DO NOT COME FIRST. RUSH LOYOLA LUTHERAN GENERAL and more other hospitals in Chicago area. If we continue to give this hospital business They will continue to think they are doing it right. Do your research. Know that just because it's on TV and has lots of money for marketing. That doesn't mean it's good. It means they are doing and pushing lots of surgeries and procedures. Like me. I got sucked up into that system.

Me & my child sat at northwestern hospital 22 hrs between last night at 10:30 pm until today we have been here since We came in for help to get into a homeless shelter only to receive absolutely non & all we received to eat was 2 sandwiches during the whole period that we had to beg for & now we have to leave the hospital with out no where to go! They handled a domestic abuse crisis situation badly. They was rude & treated us like cattle until they finally moved us to the main lobby from the emergency room just to never check on us again & to ignore us like out of sight out of mind. I have worked in hospitals, I have worked for home-care companies, & I have my own private home are company. I have never looked down on anyone to treat them like dirt especially because of a hardship. I am appalled & I better be dying before I'll ever step a foot in North western hospital on Huron Street ever again! No one in there should ever have another job in the health field or a job that help humans or anything that u have to show love & care for period! This hospital was so cold hearted to me & my daughter it was un believable! I was running from domestic violence & no one there helped me or my child. I don't even want them to contact me now I'll never trust that someone will help us ever again! Think about how I felt when the police, nor the hospital would help both told me they wouldn't/couldn't. All the social worker & every staff we came across did was talk about their shift about to be over during different times throughout the day & keep saying sorry we can't help u! Sorry but I dont give a f*** about what time u get off when I have no where to live with my kids cause I'm homeless & been abused. Dam would it have been really that hard for the staff to do their jobs at least & help/be kind to us & to do their job & help me until your shift was over! Then she's telling me she can't help me in front of my child that just came from another Houspital cause she threatened to kill her self because of other cold hearted people like u all. Thanks for nothing! This is exactly why people would rather sleep in tents & under bridges cause people& places like u all don't really give a f*** another day another dollar for u I guess tho! Such insensitive, un caring, un loving people u have working at your work place. I would never trust my kids life or mine with this facility again. That's all this hospital is is a facility of no hope for people like me & my kids. Don't write me I don't need fake care or a bs response!

The best of the best. My doctor here was wonderful, staff were wonderful, security was always helpful with questions, and they had tons of information desks, maps, and wow the food options were not just plentiful but GOOD. I always find it a tad chuckle worthy when you go to a hospital and all they are serving is unhealthy food in the cafeteria. Like... huh?? Northwestern talks and walks with the same intention. Yes, there is unhealthy food, but the plethora of options of fantastic healthy food is just praiseworthy. This location is so nice sometimes I would work remote from their lobby when I was in the area. Also! They just announced they are putting 78 million into an emergency department expansion to cut down on wait times. Exceptional, and that's just the facts
