There was a cashier (African American young lady) there on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 around 6pm. Apologies that I forgot her name, but she greeted EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER AND really made my day before I went across the street to view the movie. If management see this, please recognize this young lady for her TOP TIER customer service and making every single customer feel welcome.

This store is always filthy and has long lines. Many items are locked up so you have to wait for someone to help you. I'd rather walk 4 blocks to CVS than shop here.

I don’t get any prescriptions from here, but I stopped at this Walgreens en route to Millennium Park to grab some souvenirs.Location: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The way they located this store right across from Millennium Park is amazing! I even got to see a live band performing in front of the store!Inside environment: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The store was very well organized and had an appealing vibe to it. Not much else to say.Products: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Pretty much everything you need for your day in the city can be found here: various household items, souvenirs, some groceries, and of course medicine. Some items are a little bit expensive, but it’s a pharmacy so I’m not complaining.Customer service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I’ve been reading a lot of these reviews that are accusing the employees of being disrespectful and refusing to provide services, but the cashier I wound up with was probably the nicest person I met on my trip. We chatted for a couple of minutes since there was no one else in line, and I left with a reminder to have a great trip.Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at this Walgreens! If I’m ever in Chicago again I’ll make sure to stop by!

Ordered all of my Christmas photo gifts from this location and the photo team and staff were incredible. One of the orders for a canvas print came in and looked "off" on their end and the photo team went out of their way to reach out and worked with me to resubmit the order. The other photos/photo orders came out quickly and beautifully.Additionally, I've been having trouble filling a prescription due to stocking issues and I was able to communicate with the pharmacy team, get updates when out of stock and fill my Rx same day when available!Really appreciated the customer service and kindness.

walgreens is done serving its customers and doesn't care that they're entrusted with medically necessary services through their pharmacy. extremely shameful.

The whole brand has completely changed and went to the wolves!! All the pharmacies have employees with horrible attitudes and the most unfriendliness disposition from the south side to downtown! It’s just bad and I’ll never use them again not even for .79 toilet paper because even that’s changed to worse. They don’t care about customers nor customer service looks like they most of em’ barely want to work so why reopen them…. All of locations on south side should’ve stayed closed after the riots!

Unfortunately, after a great manager left, this pharmacy has fallen apart. I got a call that medication Is ready. After spending 30 minutes, I walked out without the medication because the assistant couldn't find it.

I visited this Walgreens on Saturday July 15th with my mother. I went to cosmetics and was the only one on the aisle and someone on the loud speaker said someone requested assistance on the aisle, which I didn't. A man (another customer) also watched me bend down to look at some of the makeup products while I was browsing. When I went to check out the cashier did not give me a bag for my items which included glass. I was highly disappointed and left completely dissatisfied.

I asked for help and this is what I got!!I went to Walgreens on the 6thand 8th of July at 30 N MICHIGAN AVEChicago, IL 60602I again and again I receive such poor customer service! I would like to send you a snapshot of both employees who refused to help me! The first one July 6th a gentleman at the counter refused to help me find a way to look at my Walgreens app to see if I had any rewards. I posted a review that day in the website of that store! I showed him my phone and he just stood there and refused to look at my phone and tell me if I had any rewards. He just stood there and made no effort to look at my phone and help me, he just stood in the same position for about maybe 3-4 minutes. I’m shocked at his unwillingness to help a customer. The receipt is stamped at 1:07pm, please look at me handing my phone to him over the counter and his refusing to look down at the phone to show me! On July 8th I went and I was such going to buy cigarettes and so I just stood in line right away. I asked for one pack of L&M menthol “short” cigarettes. She checked and right away she said, “ we don’t have any!” I also saw that there was none showing and I asked her to please check to see if she has a carton to stack up and give me a pack please ??. She without blinking just said “no we don’t have any!” I was upset that she made no intent to look for a carton at all! I’m furious as to how poor your customer service and her lack of willingness to help a customer! Her name is Juanita and this I know because I took a picture of her to post in website of her unwillingness to help a customer like the gentleman before her! I had to walk about 10 blocks to the next Walgreens at 410 N Michigan Avenue and the absolute thing happened again when an employee absolutely “refused refused” to look for a carton to restock!! I begged her twice to please check somewhere in the back or behind the counter to see if she might have a carton and had to just restock!! She refused she said twice “no we don’t have any” without as so much checking at ALL!! She refused to check so I had to buy the L&M 100’s because I was too tired to walk anymore!! The time stamped was for July 8th at 3:25pm and so I was at the first store around maybe 3:10pm or 3:00pm with Walgreens employee Juanita! I am so perplexed as to how Walgreens hire people who are unwilling to help customers!! I don’t don’t understand! They made absolutely no effort or movement to even bother to look!I cannot believe their lack of customer service skills and unwillingness to help!

I was there to pickup my online order. As soon as I told them it was a pick up order, the associate rolled her eyes and made a grumpy face, as if I caused them a huge inconvenience.They then tried to reluctantly search for my order and did not find it. They said it was probably canceled because I did not pick it up within 72 hours. That was untrue because I did not receive an order cancelation email nor was it 72 hours since I ordered.After looking in the system, they then said someone picked it up in the morning. They said anyone could pick it up if they said my name. This was untrue again because I didn't receive an order picked up email. And that sounds like fraud If they are not checking id's of the pickup person.They then canceled the order so that I don't get charged. I didn't understand how they can cancel an order that was picked up.Really disappointed by the staff at this Walgreens location. They tried to help but didn't have any idea or didn't have the authority to fix the problem.I am never picking up an order at this Walgreens location again.

I mean, it's a Walgreens. Do you expect something extremely special? It's a standard Walgreens, a bit more expensive cause it's in the city. With dystopian fridges.
