I arrived at Walgreen’s on 12/15/22 at 7:48am. I walked up to the register close to the exit and I was greeted by Mabel. I then began to express to her about the issue with the passport photo I has taken two days ago. Mabel then asked me to walk over to the photo center where she would assist me. Mabel went above and beyond for me. I went in there worried and came out satisfied with the level of service I received. Can’t forget Teresa, for some reason my e-receipt was not in email to begin the even exchange on my passport photos and Teresa basically said not to worry that she could find it with my phone number. These both ladies worked as a team to provide excellent customer service. To add to that, they were super friendly and patient. It’s not often that I come across friendly employees, especially in the morning. Walgreens show these ladies that you are proud and honored of having employees like them work for your company!

Explored this Walgreens while visiting Chicago. It's actually a two story store and even had some groceries downstairs. Recomended :)

Awful, awful service here. Admittedly, it’s just a shop and I expect little in the way of interaction from staff, but I don’t expect to be completely ignored by ‘Lasean’ whilst making a purchase. He was so engrossed in his discussion with a security guard throughout my transaction that there was no greeting or acknowledgement of my custom. In fact, he paused his chat only to ask “need a bag?”As a frequent visitor to the US, I don’t expect particularly high standards. Bad service is what I’ve come to expect here but Lasean gets top marks for poor service.

The staff here are unnecessarily rude and obviously hate working here. This one isn't worth going to.

I actually love Walgreens. I prefer it to all the other convenience stores. Except this one! When you have a manager (Rudy), who's basically a high school kid, only more clueless, it's a recipe for disaster. Do yourself a favor and go to the Walgreens on the street . it'll save you a headache!

Placed an online order for same-day delivery from my neighborhood store at 2500 N Clark in Chicago. I have done this before and it was great. Today is dreadful. Just Before hitting the 'place order' button I saw that it said 'contactless delivery'. What does that mean these days? I can barely walk now and cannot get downstairs to meet them at my street door so I wanted to find out if they can bring it to my second floor apt. After 45 minutes on the phone and being cut off at least twice, I still don't know, but that's more than anyone at Walgreen's Customer Service knows. Finally got a very pleasant young woman who was going to connect me with Walgreens complaint number. What I got instead was a 'survey' about my satisfaction and then cut off. Do not order same-day delivery from 2500 N Clark in Chicago. Shop in person. Their web site is a hot mess. I will never, ever deal with them again. One hour of my life wasted and still no answer.

What is the deal with Walgreens' policy on checking drivers licenses for alcohol purchases? I'm 63 years old and my wife is 61, and yesterday while paying for a bottle of wine at 151 N. State (Chicago), the clerk behind the counter asks for my license, which I duly presented (like I could sneak by as a 19 yr old!) and then turned and asked for the license of my 61-yr-old wife who was standing a few feet from me (and btw doesn't drink). Well she had forgotten to bring her wallet and so lacked an ID. The clerk then proceeded to tell me I couldn't buy MY bottle of wine! I promptly abandoned all the merchandise we wanted to buy and left the store. How stupid is that policy? And frankly the clerk should have the common sense to just let us slide that one time and just remind us of Walgreens' silly policy of (1) requiring ID for people of ANY AGE (you could be 95 yrs old!), and (2) requiring ID for ANYBODY NEXT TO YOU -- again of ANY AGE. It's just so stupid and insulting to a customer who's over 60 years old to be denied buying a bottle of wine because your 60-plus-yr-old wife standing in your vicinity failed to bring her ID! I now wonder if Walgreen's policy has anything to do complying with Illinois state law regarding under-age alcohol consumption (i.e., must be 21). Maybe they just want to collect demographic (age) info on ALL customers and correlate that with ALL THE OTHER ITEMS YOU PURCHASE at checkout? And just what is the clerk doing with your drivers license when he/she looks at it and types something into their system? What personal info are they collecting? And when a bald, grey-haired man presents his ID, are they really checking to see that it shows his birthdate is prior to 2000 so that he can legally consume alcohol? Whatever the case, Walgreen's ID policy needs to change. This is crazy.

Ms. Love in Cosmetics is my new go-to person for skincare. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. Her knowledge of skincare rivals that of someone working at a department store. Thank you Ms. Love.

I went to this Walgreens to take some passport pictures. I am told they are too busy (3 people in line) to take pictures and I am told to go to another Walgreens. The second Walgreens says their camera does not work. I go back to this one and I am told in a rude way they cannot take pictures because their camera doesn’t work (there was 1 person in line and 3 employees). Apparently Walgreens has issues with cameras and employees not willing to work. Bye bye Walgreens.
