This place closes when it wants to. Never mind the posted hours. I called to have my son’s asthma medication refilled. I waited for 20 minutes for someone to answer my call because the automated system automatically scheduled it for 12pm the next day. I assumed they were busy; understandable. The pharmacist did try to accommodate me with getting the medicine ready and I appreciate that. He told me the medicine would be ready by 6pm and repeatedly reminded me that the store would close at 6:30 on this day. The posted hours say 8pm. I waited for the automated text message to tell me his medicine was ready but I never received it so I left my house and made it to Walgreens by 6:15pm. As I walked into the store, I was told by a store associate that the pharmacy was closed. I could also see the metal covering going down. I’m frustrated because my son really needed his medicine tonight (no I did not wait to the last minute; he lost his inhaler)and this place is inconsistent with its store hours. I can understand an emergency but the fact that you already planned to close early and still closed 15 minutes earlier than that is inconsiderate to the community. There are not a lot of resources available in Roseland and it’s a shame that the ones that are here don’t value the community as they should. This is disappointing.

I've been going there for a year and they have yet to get my prescriptions right. There's always a problem. Finally had enough and switched to another pharmacy. Incompetence and ineffectiveness is not going to do much for your customer base.

I called to ask about a new medicine I use received and wanted to know was it okay to take while I was taking another medicine. The lady transferred me to Katherine because she could help me. When I asked she said very nasty. If it was a problem you would have known because we have all your meds on file. I told her I didn’t know that and said Thank you and she just said mmmmmmhmmmmand hung up. I plan on transferring my business somewhere else. She was very rude.

I've noticed lately that there are no shopping carts in this store. I was in there today and I saw one gentleman with a cart. There were none at the front of the store, in the isles nor at the back of the store. I've seen people looking for carts and waiting for carts from those fortunate enough to find one. As I walked around the store with my arms full of paper towels, tissue and other products; I came across a staff person and asked him where all the carts were. He said they only had six (6) and he'd try to find one. Why no shopping carts? How are we supposed to do our shopping? I'm so sure this is not the case in other neighborhoods. A couple of years ago I wrote to Family Dollar's Corp office about the same issue. Why are the stores in our neighborhoods slighted/ignored? We're spending our money on services that suck! Get some carts! Oh yes, never did get a cart!........... Quiet Storm

The pharmacy department is very unprofessional and the customer service was even worse. I live near king drive and was sad that the Walgreens on 95th and king drive closed. I had a great relationship with pharmacy department on 95th. I give them 0 stars!
