I dropped a pair of jeans off and a dress 3 weeks ago for alterations. He told me it would be ready the following Friday. However I was out of town for a work event so I was not able to retrieve the items until the following Thursday. I went for pick up and the owner apologized and told me that it was still at the alterations place an hour away and that he would bring it in tomorrow. (A week after it was supposed to be finished). He also insisted that these items would be free of charge because of his mistake and the inconsistency. Mind you, I have a wedding to go to tomorrow and a flight that leaves at 5 am. so I told him that I cannot wait until tomorrow, and the fact that it's over a week late is not my problem but his. I offered to pick it up and he said no, he would bring it to the shop. Well I get there to pick it up from the cleaners and he proceeds to tell me that it will be 88$. How? When you were late and you just said it was free. Meanwhile I told him that was ridiculous and he charged me 60$, only for me to try it on at home and see the end result (see photos attached) . I went back and showed him, he gave me a refund. But moral of the story, I went through hell and back for jeans I can't even fit anymore since they took the butt in and all I needed was the waist. And now I have to go to Walgreens and get an emergency sewing kit to fix the top od the dress. Thanks Wabash cleaners.

They do a fine job. Starting going here because the other dry cleaners would not open in time. Turns out this place has a similar issue, would not trek here with all of your clothes near 8am and expect this place to be open in time.

I have consistently had a good experience here. Staff is always friendly. Quality service, and prices are on par with other dry cleaners. I'm always nervous bringing delicate fabrics like cashmere to a dry cleaner, but they do a great job.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE!! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. This place calls itself a dry cleaners, but they consistently fail to actually clean your clothes. And on top of that, the owner is incredibly rude and fails to acknowledge when they've done a poor job. Stay away and save your money for a place that actually does what they're supposed to do.

Great city dry cleaner that seems to be able to do everything -- coat needed a lot of fixes after years of Arctic-Chicago winters and they did absolutely fantastic job! Like everything in Chicago, you pay a price, but sure as hell better than Pressbox which it seems like all the buildings are putting in as an "amenity."
Quick aside, Keep these small, locally owned, locally operated places in business and support them -- we don't want to see them disappear.

Wabash Robbers.
For the amount of 3 Tshirts, 1 sweater, 1 pair of trousers and a small bag of underwear they charged 54$. Apparently the underwear alone is 25$ regardless of the quantity.
After taking back the underwear and leaving just a couple of shirts I still got a total of 18$. Checking again the receipt they added 4$ of rush fee which I didn't even ask. And without that, 14$ would be a robbery anyway. Needless to say, I went to take back all my stuff.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

I ripped two shirts on the back, and they fixed them perfectly and within two days. They also cleaned both for good measure. Great price for the service and quick turn around. Even though I wasn't in a rush for the shirts he made sure to get them back to me as soon as possible. 10/10 would go again.

I continue to go to Wabash Cleaners because they simple do a great job. Very friendly and good prices.
