Typical thrift store! If you like to thrift, you will like this place. Messy, kinda grimy, but packed with gems. Found multiple items at a great price that I’ve been wanting for awhile. They will jack up prices of anything with a desirable brand, but that means retro stuff is typically cheaper if you can find it within the the labyrinth of aisles. Clothes are organized by color, not size. Two floors: garments upstairs and everything else downstairs. Cashier was patient even though I bought a ton of stuff. The parking sounds like a nightmare, so don’t come here if you’re driving.

Can find some good stuff here, but the parking scam has made me never go back. Parked and accidentally walked the wrong way for 45 seconds, turned around, and someone was booting my car ALREADY. I had to talk to them to tell them i was going to the store and they wouldn’t unboot it until I walked back out with purchased items. Even then I had to beg them and one of them was creepy and said “you’re lucky you’re pretty”. Wouldn’t go here solely for the fact that the parking lot is not worth it.

One stop shop for all your thrifting needs! Village discount outlet is a great place to stop and see if they've got something that's up your alley. The stock is constantly rotating, so be sure to stop in frequently. There is ample parking on Roscoe as well as a parking lot.

What used to be an amazing store, is now ruined by new management. The store used to be organized by racks of “better garments” and their standard colored tagged clothes on other racks. The clothes are now all mixed together and extremely disorganized. What used to be a very reasonably priced store with an enjoyable shopping experience is now an overpriced thrift store that lacks any kind of organization.Things that used to cost 1-2 dollars now are priced 6-10 dollars AND are a white tag (no color discount). Sad at what greed can do to an amazing store. I won’t be coming back until the store fixes their problems and change their priorities. You are better off going to other thrift stores that cost less and have a way more enjoyable environment.

okay firstly i’d like to say, i’ve been shopping from this outlet since 2016 but today, i have never experienced such disrespect in my life. i was admiring a purse in the showcase section and had asked if i could have someone bring it down to me. i unfortunately came across this young man, who by the way has horrible hygiene, and actually smells like he works here, and refused to show me the bag, telling me “i’m sure you can’t afford it”. respectfully, i walked away, but this man continued to walk within that same exact aisle when he could’ve just brought it down.. im furious because yet, after telling me no, he serves another customer. why is this truly? i guess we’ll never know -kanye. PS. if it’s you reading this, i know your unhappy with the decisions that you’ve made throughout your life, leaving you here at an outlet, but pls don’t take this out on others. it’s not our fault, it’s yours. make better choices next time okay? :)

Great selection, and great variety of pricing in items- I’ve found numerous great wardrobe and home items here. Love the village discount!

A decent resale shop with a large selection of most items. Cleaner than most resale shops and a friendly staff. Not hard to find items as they are arranged very well and isles are labeled clearly and neatly lined on the racks. The prices are reasonable as you can get and you can surely discover a few hidden gems here if you put the work in. One big notice here is that the staff is constantly hustling around the store. You will see them cleaning and rearranging racks constantly unlike my at resale shops. Kudos to the staff.

Be careful they will tow your car if you go anywhere else besides there store even after shopping at there store. They spy on you and will tow in 5 min. The guy doesn’t even speak English at the parking lot they do this to scam you.

Have loved this place for quite some time. However, they've recently enforced a complete scam private parking company to enforce parking boots on cars at their leisure. The whole situation is a joke. When the parking lot "officer" approaches you and your booted vehicle, they state they are recording the whole interaction via body cam. It's such a gimmick. Do not give these people access to your information (card information, name, or address). Unfortunately the only (safe, in my opinion) way to get to them to take the boot off is to pay them via Apple Cash. The cuck that scammed me told me that he acknowledged that I donated four full duffel bags of clothes, and went inside the store to shop, and yet because I went for a walk afterwards instead of coming straight back to the parking lot, I'm liable to be fined $170. Don't park in Village Discounts Parking lot. Better yet, don't come here at all.

Hate to say this store is not worth the scam parking lot company they've partnered up with. We used the Starbucks bathroom and then shopped at the store and went directly to our car. We had spoken to the lot attendant first and asked the rules and he just said if we shopped at the store we were good. When we came back after spending $80 in the store, he had booted the car and insisted he photograph my credit card and drivers license while refusing to show me any identification. His badge and vest he put on for the show, but when we pulled into the lot he was just in a Tshirt. A disgusting business partnership that makes me now want to boycott Village Discount.

I'm new to the neighborhood but have been thrifting for many years & worked in a thrift store for 3 years. I walked to this location so I can't speak to the parking situation, but they do have regular announcements in both English & Spanish about parking rules . This is a large well organized thrift store. Clothes are mixed sizes but grouped by category & color (t-shirts, button downs etc) They've got a good selection of linens (which is what I was looking for), clothes for the entire family, shoes, purses, Jewelry etc. it's not Target so don't expect it to be squeaky clean, and downstairs by the pillow section is pretty smelly (thus 4 not 5 stars) but the prices were reasonable & they have daily sales on different color tags. This place is big so be prepared to spend some time going through the store .The woman who checked me out was the only employee that I interacted with and she was polite. All in all a pretty good store with good selection. I will definitely return.

I did not have a good time. Place is very messy and dirty, no criteria to put stuff on the shelves. Felt extremely uncomfortable.

Way more fun than online shopping. Stuff is organized by color! You can easily find top brand clothes here that someone maybe wore once and will cost you $3, not $80. Takes the risk out of experimenting with your look so you can be less boring for less money and save your hard earned cash for the bar, dispensary, sports book, or crypto scams.

Hope this place goes out of business. They had the cops put a boot on my car WHILE I WAS LOOKING/GOING FOR THEIR ENTRANCE. Then told the cops to leave the boot on until I buy something. Yall are so dense it's baffling. Please replace parking staff with non oonga boongas with actual braincells. Or piece of toast would have more thought processes going on in their mind then the people working here?
