it’s all trash really. they sell literally anything. piece of cardboard? slap a 4.99 price tag on it! saw a beat up LV shopping bag going for $24 when BRAND NEW ones are free/go for $5-10 anywhere else ?

Lost Prevention or security makes it so obvious that they watch you like a hawk for no reason. Way to make a regular customer feel like a criminal just for looking around. Very uncomfortable atmosphere ?

Used to love it... currently I feel it's too dirty to buy from. Other Village discounts clean up the items they sell if they smell funny or have rodent droppings, not this one.

at the time of checkout i had three items that were 50% off color tag, the lady at the register did not give me the 50% but only 10%, after i noticed before leaving the store i told another employee about the issue and she told the lady who charged me what the problem was and how to fix it…so she proceeded to give me a refund and ring me up again…only to yet again NOT give me 50% and only 10%. i’ve never had an issue like this at a village discount outlet but i’m for sure never returning to this location and you probably shouldn’t either because THEY WILL SCAM YOU !!!

I swear after this post I’m will reach out to HR and let thiem know about this specific location rude and clearly discrimination in this store along with blatant racism and behavior towards non residents of that area I purposely went in a year time to see if any change had happen with staff and nothing has changed along when you asked questions about items and your black literally had someone tell me they have to hold all my things but the Hispanic (Mexican) women with a stroller you never ask to hold or retrieve her shopping items I left immediately and made this post before I find there corporate office number I hope whoever employs them it was all worth it for the people you like to worth with and create the work dynamic in there

My daughter loves this store, but had a run in with a rude employee today that almost made me stop bringing my daughter. This store needs to show more attention and be more courteous to their African American shoppers. Not going to mention the incident that caused me to write a review, but DO BETTER!!!

A hidden gem in Chicago. As expected with most thrift stores the racks are full of merchandise, people are busy searching for the best deals and you have to be diligent to find the half-price tags. It takes effort but it’s time well spent for budget friendly quality purchases. I have frequented this location on many occasions. On my most recent visit, a piece of jewelry that I purchased was not included in my bag. The cashier ran to meet me on the sidewalk to ensure I received my item. While I did not notice her name I appreciate her kindness and will return in the near future.

Independent thrift, very messy, unorganized, uneducated staff and very rudeThey hike the price on everything and when they price an item low and you think you finally got a good deal, you go to the counter to pay and they claim that you're the one that changes the price!!They pretty much take the product back, throw it in the back to price it at a higher price and put it back on the shelf.They use a permanent marker to write on everything which I believe is insane. Just put a sticker on the toys or plates.

Great places to shop wouldn’t recommend to work there the managers are rude , talk to you any type of way . Great deals tho but management is horrible don’t fill out application AT ALL …… …. It’s dirty poor customer service …. No clothes in right order prices to high …. The mistake in they end are crazy the bathroom is a mess …they do on sun days have okay deal but nothing to go tell your mom about if I could give a zero I would

If there was a no star option I'd definitely chosen that. The staff working was extremely rude. My daughter checked out and it was the worst customer service I've experienced in a long while. One of the items weren't marked. The cashier didn't ask for a price she just said.she had to wait to sell it. We won't be back, that's for sure
