Viet Hoa PlazaWhy do I feel like I've written this place a review before? A simple asian store. Lots of stuff. A little dirty. Get your store needs. They do have fresh food, etc.Recommended

So much better and far lower prices (especially all the Filipino stuff) than that other bigger store farther west. Just living in the next neighborhood north, is a plus.

If I could give this business 10 stars I would! I have been shopping here for all the Asian food needs since 2000 and they never once disappoint. The produce section is my favorite place. Everything is super fresh and they have the most hard-to-find Asian vegetables. Most importantly, the owner and everyone who works there are exceptionally kind, genuine, helpful, and compassionate, something you don’t normally experience when you go grocery shopping. This store will always have a special place in my heart ❤️

I've been coming here for years and I never miss it when I'm in the area. I like to roam the aisles and look for unusual goodies. Yesterday I got three packages of cookies. In the past I've bought fresh refrigerated Cantonese noodles, yu choi, mushrooms, ramen bowels, wakame seaweed and my favorite Panda seafood sauce. It's a little bit of Chinatown on Argyle and it's the real thing.

I've been shopping here with my mother ever since I was 5 years old; I'm turning 40 next month. Viet Hoa is one of the oldest markets in Argyle. I love this grocery store because they sell a wide variety of Asian snacks, seafood, meat, drinks and Asian sauces from countries like: Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, China, Japan, Korea. I remember coming here one summer day years ago with my son; he started to feel lightheaded due to the summer's heat and the male owner told me to grab anything to drink and eat and he sat my son down on the stool and started feeding him. That memory really touched my heart and he even carried my son to the car. This place definitely holds a special place in my heart because of the owner's kindness and the fact that it's one of my mother's favorite places to shop. It's always busy especially on Sundays! I highly recommend this grocery store. They have a small parking lot next to the grocery store but it doesn't fit many vehicles. I usually just park next to the storefront if there is space available; if you live around the neighborhood you can also walk. Before there was 'Seafood City' or any other grocery store on Argyle; 'Viet Hoa' was the original store that provided all the Asian ingredients that our families used in recipes.

These people keep to themselves and as a customer I walked in and was rudely approached because I have my backpack; since I was not of their nationality maybe that has something to do with it. I always walk by this place never going in over again.
