“I took my almost 12-year-old Siamese kitty to Animal House yesterday for a checkup. I'm embarrassed to admit that he had not been to a vet since 2018 - 6 years ago! I had previously taken my pets to Blum in Lakeview, where I lived until the fall of 2018, and just hadn't gotten around to finding a new vet in Lincoln Square before COVID hit, which caused many clinics (including Animal House, I think) to limit their services to only emergency cases for a while. Anyway, I appreciated that the staff at Animal House were not judgmental at all towards me when I contacted them to establish care for my cat after 6 years. Both during the appointment booking, and the appointment itself, all the staff I encountered were kind and professional. They mentioned what kind of tests they thought he should have but checked with me before running them, which is more than I can say for some money-hungry clinics I've been to in the past who do a whole lot of tests without telling you and you don't find out until you get the bill. The clinic was clean and not nearly as noisy as many vet clinics are. I also appreciated the Feliway-sprayed towels Animal House offers to help calm your pets while they're there. I'm pleased with the service Tino and I received and will return to Animal House again to establish care for my other kitty.”

“I have taken my dog to Higgins for a few years, my gf from Roscoe Village had referred me to Higgins Vet.
Everyone there was so attentive and nice, the receptionists were always so cordial and always called me back promptly.
During Covid the operations changed and it was absolutely fine, we parked in the back at their designated lot and called in and someone came to see and pick up our dog to take it to a consultation while we waited.

“We've been taking our cats to Uptown Animal Hospital since their initial one year check-up during COVID, and just this summer we were fortunate enough to have them be our vet while we were in the process of moving out of the country.
Uptown Animal Hospital (especially Jenny) has been nothing but professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating during the stressful few months we had to get the cats paperwork in order and signed off by the USDA.
They are a credit to the neighborhood and we are thankful to have had such a good vet be so near at such a crucial time.
The cats paperwork was completed without fault, returned from the USDA on schedule, and the cats successfully traveled through two different countries without a single hiccup.
We are sorry to be moving so far away from such a good vet.”

“I seriously cannot sing enough praises for this office! My cat is a little on the older side and has the most finicky diabetes, but they are always so quick to help me and willing to double check and get me the right information I need. He also recently had a dental surgery and the staff at both offices went out of their way to get him scheduled as soon as possible and with a doctor who felt confident in doing this surgery with the added complication of his diabetes!! The staff is also always incredibly kind to me as well going so far as to share information for pet sitters/connect me with techs that pet sit when his diabetes made him ineligible for boarding! An amazing practice that actually cares about the pets they see!!”
