Originally back in October 2021, My husband and I came here for the dinner to try their infamous eggplant parmesan since then we have tried over half of the menu and everything has been delicious!Outside of their dinner service, we have now become regular visitors on Tuesday nights for their wine tasting, each week João and his team curate tasting based on a theme or region and we get to come in and learn while also trying some amazing wine without having to venture outside of Chicago. We've tried Orange wines, something I knew nothing about and we also visited areas where we thought we were familiar with like Napa or France but the team continuous exposes up hidden gems we may have never known about even in those areasTuesdays at Verve have quickly become our favorite night of the week, and we currently plan to keep coming back for as long as we can.AS of a few months ago we came and ate at Argot their new restaurant and we can with a few friends and it was a amazing meal, felt like we were back in paris eating a delicious meal at a cafe

Loved this space. We came here for a quiet drink and were seated at the bar. We were served quickly. I had the NA pear sour and we shared an appetizer - some sort of carrot tartare which was pretty good. Really liked the drink and will definitely be back!

Only got to eat here once, when they served food. It was very good. Since then, they stopped food service, so we come to check out the wine and stock up on my very favorite aperitif: Contratto Aperitif. They always have my order ready to go. Very knowledgeable staff.

The wine selection here runs the gamut - everything from a nice Tuesday bottle to that special grand cru magnum. The staff are wonderful, and they all know their stuff. This is also the only Verve wine with a full service restaurant, and you shouldn't miss it. Chef Ryan Epp (Per Se and Roister) helms a kitchen that turns out excellent seasonal dishes and beautiful desserts. Oh, and wine pairings? Well that's easy! Loved the wine you had with dinner? Just grab a bottle on your way out. Truly a great concept and a wonderful addition to Lincoln Park!

We have eaten at Verve Provisions multiple times and it just gets better every time. This is delicious food paired with outstanding wines. But it’s the food that keeps bringing us in! The wagu steak just right! The duck, amazing, the best I’ve ever had. The eggplant parmesan, classic and mouthwatering. Don’t miss the caesar artichoke to start your dinner memorably! This is a place to come back to once a week (at least) for the food and wine experience, the ambiance and smile you’ll have remembering each visit! Come on your own and sit at the bar or bring friends and family. A good time will be had by all!

Came in on a Friday night, great atmosphere! Limited menu, but every item excels. Had the burrata for the app, and the Eggplant Parmesan and waygu steak for the main. Absolutely superb. I’ll admit, I hate eggplant Parmesan, and I could not get enough of this one. Amazing wine selection as well.

This place has a huge selection of wine as well as a bar for an instant glass! The bottles were organized very well by where they were made and ranged drastically in prices, so this place will fit just about any budget! They also offered pick up options and wine tasting. There were also snacks to pair your wine with to buy including olives and gluten-free crackers. I stopped by around 3pm and it was empty, but based off the stacks of to-go orders they had, it looks popular! Customers are also able to book them for events such as holiday parties and private dinners.

Truly excellent wine bar with a simple menu that hits all the right notes. We had a full meal, took our waiter’s recommendations on wine, and came away with an experience that exceeded our expectations and ranked among my favorite meals in Chicago, or anywhere.Dan was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout our visit, as were the other staff who welcomed and served us. His suggested wine pairings were spot on and the food was all very good to exceptional. The menu is tight and focused, with something for anyone who is familiar with “old world” cuisine. Carnivores and vegetarians alike will find enough options to dine well.The wine selection is superb, with plenty of excellent options by the glass in addition to a well curated and extensive bottle list that contains gems at a wide range of price points. We’ll be back!

What a delightful place! Service was great - Jonas had really good wine and food recommendations- the variety of wine available is outstanding and the food was also great. We had fresh oysters, the watermelon salad, the artichoke, and mussels and everything was perfect. They also have a wine store adjacent to the restaurant where you can buy great wines for a very affordable price. The restaurant is convenient located in beautiful plaza. Will go back for sure!

Awesome wine bar and excellent food. Shout out to Michael and João for the amazing wine pairing recommendation and overall wonderful dining experience. The menu is limited but perfect for a casual date night. Quality over quantity and a good balance of menu items. Afterwards my wife and I hit up the wine store to grab a couple bottles to take home. Extremely pleased with the quality, genuine service, atmosphere, variety of wine, and price point. We will be returning soon.
