“Josie LOVES sit social and we absolutely love to bring her here because we can tell how happy and excited she gets when we arrive just at the door. Once we walk inside, she forgets about me and dashes into the room! The people who work here are really sweet and kind, making it trustworthy for us to bring Josie here. We love receiving the pup updates during Josie’s stay here and seeing the cutest photos! I’ve done a ton of research before selecting a daycare to bring Josie to and this place definitely gave me a sense a relief. Thank you Sit Social for loving Josie as much as we do.”

“I have traveled all over the world and stayed at many fine hotels and resorts, but The Langham Chicago is truly one of the best. I just completed my fourth stay from September 6th to 10th, and this time I brought my son. The hotel facilities are simply outstanding—the spa, gym, and indoor swimming pool are all top-notch. The views by the river are magnificent, offering a serene backdrop to our stay.

However, what truly sets The Langham apart is the exceptional service. From check-in to check-out, every staff member we encountered was attentive, kind, and made us feel incredibly welcome. The experience in the Club Lounge was particularly memorable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure our comfort.

Even after checking out, I left with a heart full of warmth and happiness. Thank you, Langham Chicago, for another incredible stay. I can't wait to return!”

“I had never been to the Chopin Theatre before. We saw the one man play, "Royko: The Toughest Man in Chicago." The theatre was fantastic. There literally wasn't a bad seat in the house. The people working there were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Cozy and intimate apty describe the Chopin. Parking can be challenging, but there is plenty of street parking around the theatre. Just download the ParkChicago app and feed the meter right from the lobby. It was a great experience and I would definitely visit again.”

“I give it 4 stars because the admission fees do not give you access to all of the exhibits. Paying extra on top of the already high prices is ridiculous. The information I did see was good and educational for children. There were a variety of displays and activities, although I just couldn't justify paying extra to see everything. The giant space was well used and maps were provided to help you navigate. The toy making was not available when we were there. Overall, it's a good place to take children and you can spend several hours there.”

“We recently celebrated our wedding at Ovation, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the start, the team at Ovation (Nicole & Cydnei) displayed a high level of professionalism, handling every detail with care and attention. They were responsive, organized, and truly dedicated to ensuring that our day went smoothly.

The venue itself is stunning, offering a beautiful blend of elegance and charm that set the perfect backdrop for our special day. One standout touch was the vintage car they provided for us to drive in and take photos with—it added such a unique, romantic element that our guests loved.

Speaking of guests, everyone had an incredible time! Devin created an atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. We had so many people that said they couldn’t stop dancing. The Ovation team was on top of every detail, from the setup to the flow of the evening. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience and would highly recommend Ovation to anyone looking for a venue that’s professional, stylish, and truly dedicated to making your day memorable.”

“Where do I start? The staff was so professional and accommodating. They had a helpful answer to every question we asked and made it very clear that we were the priority. As the mother of the bride, I expected to be stressed, but I wasn't! This was truly a perfect setting for our family's wedding. Thank you, Firehouse!”

“We hosted our third annual NA Day at Loft on Lake, and it was fantastic! The venue is beautiful, immaculate, and has all the vibes for a perfect event. Jill Garrett, the venue coordinator, was thoughtful, quick to respond, and most helpful throughout the planning process. She oversaw the event from beginning to end—seamless! I highly recommend Loft on Lake for any event!”

“Came to area for my husband birthday. He loves old, classic, hot rods so I planned this outing for him. When we walked in we were greeted very well & got a good explanation of everything. This is a huge place that everyone can enjoy. It is 2 stories but there are several bathrooms which was a plus. All the vehicles were great & we enjoyed reading all the histories of each. This museum is much more than the cars. It is a fun nostalgic atmosphere to be in. Even got to meet & talk to owner in elevator. Recommend highly.”

“It had been many years since my last visit. Spanning three floors, it seems Dalvage One has found a balance between being an architectural salvage location and an event space. Much of the first and second floors is dedicated to weddings and parties. Still a very fun placevto explore in.”

“Escape Artistry was fantastic to work with! They made the process easy and were so generous in donating a group of tickets for our staff to participate in a team-building event. We really appreciate their willingness to support our organization and help us get out of the office for some fun and interactive problem-solving. Highly recommend working with them for any group events or just a great escape room experience.”

“Thalia Hall in Chicago is a fantastic venue that perfectly blends history, charm, and modern amenities, making it an ideal spot for live music events. Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a performance by The Paper Kites, and the experience was nothing short of delightful.

One of the first things that stood out was the cleanliness of the venue. Thalia Hall is well-maintained, with tidy restrooms and a polished appearance throughout the space. This attention to detail contributes to a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall experience for concertgoers.

The friendly staff truly makes a difference at Thalia Hall. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and a helpful demeanor. The bartenders, in particular, were exceptional. The bartender who served us was not only efficient but also engaging and personable. They took the time to chat with patrons and made everyone feel welcomed, adding a personal touch to the evening.

The acoustics in the hall are impressive, allowing for an intimate listening experience that truly complements the performances. The ambiance is cozy, with a mix of historic charm and modern flair, making it easy to relax and enjoy the music. The seating arrangement is well-designed, ensuring that even those at the back can have a great view of the stage.

Watching The Paper Kites perform in such a setting was magical. The atmosphere was electric, and the combination of their beautiful music and the venue's charm created an unforgettable experience. The crowd was respectful and engaged, which further enhanced the enjoyment of the concert.

Overall, Thalia Hall is a gem in Chicago's music scene. Its cleanliness, friendly atmosphere, and excellent staff contribute to a wonderful experience for anyone attending a show. I highly recommend checking out upcoming performances at Thalia Hall—whether you're a fan of the artists or just looking for a great night out, you won't be disappointed!”

“Huge convention center! Very well maintained, good location near public transportation. I was here for MRO Americas, a big commercial aviation show. Disappointed with restrooms though, only at one location so you have to walk a lot to get there.”

“Extremely pleasurable experience wonderful if you’re a history buff add a pinch of jazz and 19th century spark! Guys. This is a spectacular mansion full of wonder and pristine glamour that you cannot see anywhere else. Very pleased with Angela as she provided my group a stellar tour! Loved to witness the joy in her eyes over the gladness she’s shared within The Colvin House.I only recommend this visit to those seeking an elegant gothic revival within their day to day. On a Tuesday I visited with my team for their Kevin Fort & Andy Brown concert and it was just total harmony. BYOB wine quaint seating and delightful bites. Please dress well or business casual wonderful location to host corporate events or weddings.Gladness peace and kindness to all.”

“I've gone to the Writers Museum several times. The children's book section is good, as is their hallmark timeline attraction that shows the evolution of American literature in all kinds of formats and genres. The word waterfall is a must-see, but the vintage typewriters always seem to grab my kids' attention the most. The AWM has a ton of manipulative and interactive elements, which are bathed in striking and colorful displays. New is a machine that generates a printout of a 1-, 3-, or 5-minute read paired to the genre selected.

Currently, the featured exhibit is based on gaming, with a concentration on role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons. It provides good history about the industry and its impact while spotlighting several creators over the years. There are multiple activities as part of this exhibit that really appeal to children, including some cloaks and accessories for live action role-playing. In a separate room, people could play a table game or examine other works related to the exhibit.

Ultimately, the AWM pays homage to the history and contributors of American literature, being careful to go far beyond the WASP-y nature of the "canon" that dominated lit classes for too long. The museum also inspires creativity and makes writing accessible for all. A terrific value find on Michigan Avenue just north of Millennium Park.”

“So many excellent pieces! This was a fun little date stop to pop in and see the art. They have pieces for every price point, as well as sale items. Highly recommend even if you just want to walk around/window shop.”

“The children liked the facility and had a great time. We adore how charmingly decorated the facility is, and the kids may choose from a variety of toys and spaces to play. They offer a wet bar, which is quite handy, and the best part is the staff—they are really nice, helpful, and pleasant, which helps make our celebration wonderful and successful and stress-free because they were there to help and feel you welcome.”

“The House of Hope is a new church/arena. It's a lot bigger than what I remember years ago. Every seat is a good seat to see the stage. The acoustics were clear and sounded fantastic. I've been to other arenas are it was garbled and garbage. Not able to understand and hear the artist. The House of Hope was not like this but a 10/10One thing the only thing-- it was 7pm when we went to the bathroom and doors opened at 6pm and there was no toilet paper. Plenty of stalls ????but no toilet paper in many of them. They did bring some. Again, that was the only hiccup for us. We left early to avoid the parking lot jam.And of course, CeCe Winans killed it❣️? ????love her”

“The facility where the museum is built is very large and beautiful, inside the museum there are some samples but my humble opinion... Chicago to have so many Puerto Ricans and so many talents should have many more exhibitions to show the world, there is talent, there is creativity, the only thing missing is donate and show more of that Puerto Rican culture, I thought I would find typical costumes, some Taino samples, more history or at least a gallery of the great artists and celebrities that the island has produced, one with the music they have created, etc.”

“Create your Space Studio is such a magical space to hold classes. I have been holding my group breathwork classes here and it is just perfect. The space is clean, bright, cheerful and has a wonderful sound system, lighting, and two clean bathrooms. Jackie, the owner, is organized, responsive, helpful and makes booking and renting the space a pleasure. “I visited the Christkindl Market at Wrigleyville, and they have the booths/shops put up by the Gallagher Way. It was a nice experience, and I was able to enjoy the hot cocktail and other treats. There were benches, chairs, and tables for patrons to sit. I am looking forward to next year's Christkindl Market here in Wrigleyville.”
