This has got to be the worst post office in Chicago. Fire the entire staff! They close and lock doors when suppose to be open. Don’t answer phones. Have attitudes when in service. Move slow with no urgency. THE WORST

Constantly closing before their stated times of operation. If it’s says they close at 2, show up 12 they’re closed. If it says they close at 6, show up at 5 they’re closed.

TEMPORARILY CLOSED for emergency repairs.
As of 8/16/2024 they are still closed and have been since April (see photo).
I've visited this post office many times in the past and always received good service.
Please ignore all of the low ratings from people who did not read the sign posted on the locked door.
Not sure when they will reopen, but there are plenty of other post offices within a 10 minute or so drive.

As of August 16, 2024 this post office is still closed. The availability of this location needs to be changed on Google to not show it is still open.

This location has been closed since April 28, 2024. According to the sign, they were supposed to open after 30-45 days. As of August 13, 2024, they have been closed for 107 days.

This location is CLOSED. The customer service told me few days ago my package is at this location, but when I came here at 9:15am, is COLSED. The note on the door says this location has been closed since April 2024, so how can my package in June is here?? I have no idea where is my package right now, and is an international package.

I made an appointment 2 weeks ago for Today at 12:30pm for a passport application, just to show up and the building was closed when it states they are suppose to be open until 2pm. Crazy that I was able to go on the USPS Website to make the appointment and when I called and was on the phone with the main line for 45 minutes, they said they are unaware that the building was closed and it should be open.

Doors were locked at 3pm on a THURSDAY! As if people don’t have businesses that runs through the Post Office, not only is this an inconvenience to my time but it’s an inconvenience to my money. It’s always the post office in the urban areas that never cares for their community, might as well shut it down or hire a new team. You already know the type of people working there… of course they were black, black and ignorant to close the post office without notice in the middle of the afternoon on a Thursday. I will also be calling corporate to make a report,

Awesome staff. The older lady with the glasses and bangs is the best . Despite being super busy and shortstaffed they get the job done. Efficient and polite despite being incredibly busy. Keep us the good work guys! We appreciate you! :)))
