The employee I met with yesterday evening was rude and provided me with inaccurate information for two separate issues. This is the second post office in Chicago that I have had a horrible experience at.

Just a mess of a place!
I don’t have words to describe this craziness. How many mails been marked as delivered but never arrived, how many mails are forwarded to who knows where, how many documents lost, how many checks.
Not sure why USPS still exists…

The lady at the front was unprofessional and rude. She made me buy a tape because she said “the office doesn’t have a tape” to tape my box. She made me buy one although I didn’t have to. Anyway, I left the tape there as a donation to help other customers taping their boxes without getting asked to buy a tape because “the office doesn’t have a tape”.

I agree with others that there is rarely more than one person at the window to help which causes long, slow lines. Today, however, Shirley went over and above my expectations in helping me renew my passport. She provided exceptional service!

5 windows and only one person working. Something is very wrong and someone needs to investigate this place, cause it dont make any sence, unless the reason is, to frustrate the customers !!!

Very helpful staff who has gone out of their way for me multiple times over the years. The staff has always been patient, helpful, and attempts to resolve any issues appropriately.

I'm tired of dealing with rude workers. I'm just going to use UPS from now on. I am completely ok with defunding the USPO.

Nine people in line with one person working. I have never seen more than one window open and have never been in and out under 20 minutes. This location is terrible. Lots of people on back but I guess they can’t be bothered to help customers.

Rude unconcerned and a couple of hateful bigoted employees just there to collect a paycheck. Used this location for 35 years. Younger employees somewhat nicer, but older lady and rude tall older guy named Michael or he used name tag Miguel, sometimes were openly hostile and talked about me and other customers. Called national post office HQ in Washington DC to report Michael/Miguel for verbal harassment and derogatory names he used on me and another customer like he’d never get in trouble. Five days later got a call from the PO and I described Michael/Miguel as tall with curly gray hair and glasses, about 60. The caller kept denying any Michael or Miguel or anyone with that description worked there. I went over and over description and his rude abusive behavior and tossing my package over his head into the mail cart behind him.It took me a few days to get back there and saw him working the window. I finally realized the guy was the one that called me pretending to be the local office manager, and that he had my name, phone number and complaint information. I couldn’t believe my complaint was forwarded and the REAL manager gave it to this offensive guy I had complained about who called me. Unbelievable. Sad our post office is run like a horrible business.
