This is THE worst post office in Chicago. The mail carriers are lazy as hell. They don’t deliver mail nor packages. They scan something delivered and never even attempted delivery. I’m expecting passports along with other important documents. It was scanned delivered today 8/14 but when I check my mailbox there’s nothing there. They mishandle important documents without a care in the world. My only next steps are to file complaints until someone does something!!

Attention…. hopefully someone from the postal office higher up in management will see this post…..I’ve been coming to this post office for nearly 30 years….. The staff has always been friendly, helpful and kind however, in the recent year, I’ve been disrespected by a clerk name AISHA… that’s what she told me her name was she doesn’t wear A name tag…… she’s about 5’9 thin dark skin female….. I was at this location on May 9 around 4:45 PM…. I was there to pick up a package. This clerk asked for a tracking number I showed her that’s when she pointed out to me that the package was for UPS not USPS, which was a honest mistake on my part…I told her I apologize. I stepped to the side… she thought I left and that’s when she began to talk about me to her coworker and a customer saying that I can’t read this is USPS not UPS etc. I stepped from the side and said do you have something to say to me..:she was like no I don’t have anything to say to you I left out however this bothered me so I went back in to ask to speak to her supervisor, Aisha yelled for her supervisor to come out, yelled at the supervisor, and when the supervisor came out, I was explaining to her what happened and that I wanted to file a complaint…Aisha started yelling. You just mad because you can’t read in front of customers being completely unprofessional
Never once did the supervisor tell her to stop yelling at me or the leave the floor however when I started to yell back at her, the supervisor gonna tell me to calm down…. I was defending myself from A out of control clerk this is the second time this clerk has disrespected me, something needs to be done about her conduct…I’m being bullied harassed targeted by this clerk. She instantly have an attitude as soon as she see me I’m there to conduct business not to be bullied by a clerk…. if possible, please review the video of May 9, 2025 at around 4:45 PM. Please watch the video in its entirety. I left and came back… that’s when all hell broke loose. Thank you.

I dropped off a pre-paid package to be scanned and processed. I set it on the counter as instructed. It was never seen again.

Theresa & Iesha are the best. They’re always so nice and informative about the post office when I come in to pick up late mail, return packages, pick up packages or just ask a simple question. If one leaves the desk to retrieve mail or inform their about supervisor about an issue supervisor the other one is smiling and working efficient trying to get customers in and out. Great job ladies. I appreciate all that you do for our neighborhood!

Having ONLY RECENTLY DISCOVERED THIS FACILITY, (2035 S. STATE ST.) I WAS PLEASED, N SURPRISED, WITH THE STAFF'S PROFESSIONAL, EXPEDIENT SERVICE, N POLITE CLERKS; THEY APPEAR TO HAVE A GOOD 'TEAM' WORKMANSHIP, WORKING TOGETHER, for THE CUSTOMERS BEST SERVICE!!!An HONORABLE MENTION, for 4850 N.BROADWAY FACILITY, ( ALTHOUGH NOT PERFECT), I RECIEVED PROMPT COURTEOUS SERVICE THERE, ( ESPECIALLY), on those occasions, WHEN, I DID NOT RECIEVE NEEDED SERVICES AT 1723 WEST DEVON FACILITY; (REFUSED MONEY ORDERS, LONG LINES, N LONG WAITS N EARLY CLOSURES)! N was FORCED TO SEEK ASSISTANCE ELSEWHERE!!! SADLY, THIS USPS IS NEAREST TO ME, YET, MY FREQUENT EXPERIENCES WITH this FACILITY/STAFF, FORCES ME, TO ONCE AGAIN FIND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES!!! SO. WHERE'S WESTERN UNION!?!🤑🤔🙏

One of the worst post offices across Chicago. Either the machines are down or people are missing so there is only one person able to handle customers. The rest are just sitting around.

I called the main USPS number to ask why my mail has not been delivered for over 2 weeks. A case was opened yo figure out why and was advised that it would take 2-3 business days. I had several time sensitive pieces of mail that have not been delivered. I know this because I signed up for the notifications. I asked what was the address of my post office and rep gave me the Chinatown address. I went to the Chinatown address and was directed to this office. Wait was not long but when I told the Attendant that I have not received my mail and provided my address she said that’s weird it has been delivered I replied that it has not so she went to the back to check. She came back and said that it would be delivered today. It has not. Disappointed again.
