This is my go to USPS location. I have the bigger Dearborn office nearby too but this one is much more efficient. Jean is super helpful, kind and efficient and he will go the extra mile to make your experience smooth and pleasant. She's usually there on her own (apparently the other person doesn't show up regularly) but she's always committed to get the job done. She's a treasure so please make sure she has the support she needs.

These hours are wrong. I Googled the hours then rushed to get to the Post Office before they close for the weekend, I got there 4pm on Fri and they were completely closed. I the store hrs on the door also confirmed that they should've been open as well, but they were not. I would've went to a different post office.

The African American woman you have delivering mail to the Sandburg association the James house to be exact must have intellectual disabilities or is remedial. Today Dec 9th she got here at 1pm it is now 4pm and she is still putting mail in the boxes. This is unacceptable I have no problem with people who have a handicap or something is wrong but she needs to go work with boxes not sensitive mail that people are waiting on. My mail was supposed to be delivered yesterday received nothing now today it’s taking her hrs to even put it in the slot. This is ridiculous please put her somewhere else.I put her race so you know exactly who she is

The only time I could drop stuff off is during my lunchbreqks, and they would take spontaneous random lunchbreaks so it's a hit or miss on whether I have to wait. They leave a sign when they'll be back but they will for sure will arrive later at that time.

Poor experience. Multiple people waiting for someone to come back. Note said they will be back at 2:10pm, but it’s already 2:55pm. Still actively waiting for someone to come. Their office is supposed to be open.

I've visited this post office twice and the staff have been unhelpful both times. It feels like the clerks do the bare minimum. It's a real post office, not a contract location, which I normally prefer, but I've been consistently disappointed here. I'll mail things elsewhere next time.

The experience in this post office really exceeds my expectation on USPS. Versus the abysmal attitude/experience from the loop (federal building) location, this place makes me feel like a valued customer. Compliment to the staff here!

Super hard to find - walk into the 360 observation deck building and then go down the escalator. It will be on your right. The woman working today was lovely and very helpful!

I am standing in front of a sign at the closed location with posted hours indicating it should be open. Another wasted trip.

The employees are amazing. They take care of all your needs. They will spend the time to do what they have to do.

I use the USPS quite often for personal and business needs. The John Hancock location is very convenient and the staff is very helpful. A special shout out to Jane, who is always there to greet everyone with a smile. I’ve read other reviews that remark how the lines sometimes move very slowly. There’s a reason for this and a lot of it has to do with the consumer not paying attention to what’s required when sending and/or picking up packages. Keep up the great work at the John Hancock facility — you are truly appreciated!!!

Their systems were down so they couldn’t process anything.
