Showed up at 1.03pm, technician was locking the door in front, posting on the door Lunch until 2.30pm. Wondering if only one person was working at the location and if she was taking hour and half lunch break.

i had a really great experience here opening a PO Box. i was slightly hesitant based on the negative reviews so i just want to add my positive experience in case anyone is on the fence.There was one employee at the desk and she was very nice, helpful, and efficient with myself and everyone in front of me despite being it kind of being a holiday (Monday July 3).There were three people in front of me and i still got in, registered, and out before my 15min parking was up.I didn’t catch her name, but the employee working today was so lovely and i wouldn’t hesitate recommending people to use this location!

I love this post office. I make a point to visit right before school pickup since it is conveniently located next to North Park Elementary. The two women who work the counter are always very friendly and kind. They say hello to my baby and offer to show me the variety of stamps that are currently available. Other post offices in Chicago tend to be slow and there is a long wait, but I can just step right up to the counter most of the time. I highly recommend this location! I go out of my way to visit.
