Visited this post office yesterday 7/10 at 11:40am. The gentleman working there was very nice and helpful. He was the person attending Me. The lady with the copper, curly hair was not friendly. She was rude, unprofessional and racist. I walked out and walked back in because I had another box. When I walked back in the 2nd time she asked me “What u got going on?” I said I’m mailing this box out. I clearly had a large box in front of my face. What else would I be doing there? She said that box isn’t sealed. I showed her the tape I had in my hand that I had just bought 2 mins ago from the gentleman. That’s when the man told her he was helping me already. She told me to go to the other area to tape my box. She just wanted to say something. She wasn’t minding her business. I did hear her tell the man how she told her supervisor she “gets here when she gets here.” Talking about to the post office. How she tends to be late to work. It’s a small space and no one else was there so it was easy to hear her. While I was being checked out a Spanish speaking customer walked in with his request typed on his phone translator. He had the misfortune of having her “help him.” She looked at his phone, rolled her eyes, had poor body language as though she can not be bothered. She did get her phone and used her translator to communicate with him. With a terrible attitude of course. I smiled at the man to not make him feel so uncomfortable. I wonder if he was Asian or another ethnicity other than Latin would she have been equally as rude. This isn’t someone that should be working at a public office. Much less when customers are encouraged to submit surveys. The man was great 10/10. She was not 0/10.

Only go here if you enjoy being treated like you don't even exist. Silent rudeness is still rudeness. I'll just go to Jewel from now on to get my stamps. They treat me like a human being.

Half a dozen people are here outside but the place is closed during business hours. Someone said this is normal for this location.

Staff was helpful and professional. Small office and won't have everything you need, though.

This location should be shut down and everyone there should be fired. They refuse to honor the USPS insurance process and will not do package inspections, despite the main Claims Department confirming to me that this location is able to do the inspections. Clerks, Jimmy and Vada, refused to inspect a package or put their refusal in writing on June 10. Natasha Hollis, who responded to the complaint, became hostile over the phone when I shared with her that she was inaccurate about the window to present the items for inspections. She bizarrely decided that we only had until MAY 20 to bring in a damaged package that was mailed on MAY 8 and the report was filed on MAY 16. There is no way that we only had FOUR DAYS from the time the claim was filed to bring the item in. As we speak, she has left me on hold and is now refusing to answer any calls at the office.
These people behaving like mentally delayed children. They don't understand their own job, they are nasty, rude, lazy and dishonest.

Possibly the worst service I’ve experienced at USPS from living in LA to NYC. People ignore customer on their phone, they think the general public should be aware of nuanced processes that aren’t customer facing to ship. The place also looks like a Dollar Tree in east Detroit. Trash everywhere. Avoid at all cost.

Closed seemingly permanently due to "unforeseen circumstances." Posted on door, not on the Internet. Wasted trip.
