came in today, was tossed a hello while i was walking behind a wall of products, i just wanted a camel-back but the salesperson kept parading another customer through me while i was looking at the product, no attempt to from staff to figure out what i wanted, could of been an easy sale, i wonder home much money you guys lose every day because of this

I love this place! I have popped in briefly in the past, but actually came in yesterday for a few specific things and was not disappointed. The selection is a bit smaller than places like REI, but everything they have is sooo good and easy to find. Megan, the sales associate helping us out was seriously great. She was not overbearing at all, giving us the freedom to shop, but super genuinely helpful and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond and deserves a raise. I’m definitely super excited to keep shopping here- a gem in the neighborhood!

Matthew did an excellent job of helping me get fitted with Birkenstocks and shopping for my grandies. The store has an excellent selection of outdoor and camping gear. It’s convenient and close to a lot of shops in Lincoln Square and has a wide assortment for men and women. I highly recommend this store for your outdoor needs.

This shop is closed nearly every time I try to stop. 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays, when the most people are out strolling. It’s no wonder that they’ve been closing stores and customers have moved to shopping online, at other vendors.

I love having an outdoors store to pop in to while walking on Lincoln. This place has a decent selection and usually some great deals in the clearance section.

I come here pretty often to see what they have in stock. They have nice gear and clothes, and the staff is always super welcoming and friendly! Their climbing gear section is pretty small, they definitely focus on clothing, shoes, and camping gear more.

Have been coming here essentially since they first opened as Uncle Dans. Love having an outdoors store in my neighborhood and being able to buy quality brands I enjoy locally. Many of the employees have been there for years it seems and provide great service.

I had to swap out some virtual gift cards for physical ones. Matt was super helpful! Told me he “appreciated my patience” as if the whole thing didn’t take 5 minutes. Super friendly staff and environment. Never been shopping here for myself, but that might need to change soon!

I have always enjoyed shopping here for myself and family. I am disappointed to say I may not be returning after my experience today. I came back with a dress I had purchased in the last couple of weeks. One of the seams was coming apart in the shoulder after wearing once. I asked to return it and they would not work with me. They suggested I take my concern to the company who made to dress. I understand that this is a small business (albeit with several locations) but the employee could sense my disappointment and just smirked and stood there. The manager had been consulted and was apparently too busy to come offer any help either. This business sells pretty expensive clothing for the most part and I just think they should stand behind the products they sell and if not, train their employees to treat their customers with more than a smirk.
