I am in the midst of renovating our master bathroom. JC Licht was recommended by our contractor. I went in for wallpaper and was in a hurry and under pressure. I was assisted by Caroline. She was professional and knowledgeable and very helpful. I do not hesitate to recommending them.Convenient parking is available. It would be a “go to” for my future hardware needs. DS.

I visited the JC Licht showroom twice and experienced top-notch, attentive and professional care each time. The first time, Meg advised me. I was looking at wallpaper for an office space, and she pointed out potential wear issues for the “papers” (i.e., linen and grass wallpaper) that I preferred. We then looked at more commercial, vinyl-coated papers, and Meg again was super helpful, explaining the pricing. She did not pressure me, encouraging me to take time and consider options.The second interaction was a telephone call with Keyaira. I had a description of a wallpaper and a photo from my first visit but could not remember the manufacturer. (A small nightmare for her.) She was optimistic and asked for a few hours to track it down. Keyaira placed a sample order for me as we exchanged emails.Today I went in and picked up the sample, meeting Keyaira in person. Again, she was super helpful as she looked at my measurements and advised me. I love the paper that I ordered.If you are considering wallpaper, I highly recommend JC Licht. I looked online for hours, but one really needs to touch the paper, see how light reflects off it and see colors without screen interference. Secondly, their wallpaper is organized by book (instead of hanging on hundreds of hangers). I found this to be way more efficient. It’s easy to open a book and quickly determine if the designer, paper texture or finish are your jam.Lastly, get a sample. I thought this extra step was unnecessary. I am glad that Keyaira insisted. It was only $2, and the sample color was a bit different from the book and photo. I still went with my choice but am glad that when the rolls come, I won’t be surprised.We are so lucky to have these brilliant women and store in our neighborhood!

Multiple people asked me if I needed help. I didn't have to hunt people down for help! And it's clean, and things are neatly organized. This is a great little hardware store.

Keiyra is great! She helped with the whole process from start to finish. I told her what style we were looking for and she choose certain books pertaining to that. (There’s over 1000 samples) she was patient with us while we went back and fourth and even tried coming up with the square footage of our space with the measurements I brought in. Highly recommend working with her!

I had gone into chicago downtown office and wanted to get a sample and show my hubby since Mark my salesperson could not leave me a sample as he visited me in my home.So I went into this downtown office and Meg (aka Megan) helped me get the sample and highly praised salesperson Mark. Megan told me more about the shades and cassettes which was hard to see with an at home brochure. So seeing displays in person was beneficial to me! Meg in chgo downtown store was great, sweet and kind and boosted my reasoning also for getting my custom blinds through salesman Mark!

Keyaira at the West Loop JC Licht was so helpful and responsive during the process of choosing a wallpaper, ordering samples, and purchasing wallpaper rolls for my home decor project.
