As far as souvenir shops go, this is about as good as it gets. Friendly staff and good design.
If you need gifts, I'd absolutely recommend this place.
My wife has some mugs from a decade ago, we went last weekend while visiting with our moms and I have to say I'm impressed.

Great t’shirts in Wicker Park. Love the t’shirt designs and other souvenirs at the store. If you’re looking for something unique, stop by this shop.

Best place for Chicago centered shopping. The products are so creative and unique. And the prices are super reasonable. A must shop in Chicago.

This store is a great discovery. You can find lots of original Chicago souvenirs there. Too bad it is far from the city center. In fact, you have to deserve it.

Staff not at all smiling or even almost unpleasant! It seems that customers bore them and that they prefer a store without customers! No smile and not at all friendly!
But we find cool things inside!
I advise the staff to learn to smile!
So I don't recommend this extremely unpleasant store!

My sister and her boyfriend recently visited me in town, and they wanted to grab some souvenirs before heading to O’Hare. I would have typically taken them to the location in Andersonville, but I am glad we were in a time crunch because we found this location closer to us! (The highway is a sneeze away, so if you’re just passing through and want to find some Chicago goodies, I highly recommend stopping here!)
First and foremost, in addition to the highway, this location is accessible by several bus lines, and the blue line stop is not far away. There is paid street parking available as well. The neighborhood is eclectic and colorful filled with many other shops, restaurants, and bars - both local and chain.
The shop offers a wide array of Illinois- and Chicago-themed gifts and souvenirs. From stickers to magnets, books to boardgames, and shirts to kitchenware, this store offers so much! If you’re an avid fan of local- and/or transportation-themed memorabilia, this is definitely a place for you as many of the smaller items are based on local legend and lore, Chicago neighborhoods, and even individualized train stops and street names.
What impressed me the most was the hospitality and enthusiasm the staff had for their business. Linda was lovely and answered questions about merchandise and even then introduced us to the owner Tim who gave us a tour of their design studio and shared his business story and origins. Everything in this store is locally designed in-house! They are continually brainstorming fresh ideas to share with the world.
I also greatly appreciate that they welcomed my sister and her boyfriend as veterans who recently finished their service with the Marines. Thank you so much, again, for closing this trip with such hospitality for them!
Whether you’re visiting Chicago or are a seasoned local to the city or suburbs, I highly recommend stopping into this shop to check out what they offer. As for me, this specific shop will be my dedicated Merchandise Mart for anything “Chicago”.

Truly the best store for great Chicago souvenirs!
We really thought about coming here because it's not right in the center, but it was so worth it! Really nice, high quality souvenirs like glasses, magnets, t-shirts etc.
We even got a little tour at the end, some of the stuff is not only designed on site but also produced - really cool! So you also support the locals ?
If I'm in Chicago again, I'll definitely stop by again!

Fun store to visit. I like seeing all of the Chicago souvenir stuff that feels more specific than the generic stuff they sell downtown or in Chinatown.
I wish their neighborhood-themed selection was more diverse. They’ll sell magnets and stickers for different neighborhoods, but focus on a handful of predominately-white, Northside neighborhoods. Understood that they’re in Wicker Park so that’s the demographic… but feels like more of an effort could be made to capture the 77 community areas that make Chicago really great.

Good store for postcrossing. Lots of gift shops don't supply postcards for whatever reasons, but Transit Tees has a good variety of Chicago themed cards. My only wish is I use multiple stamps when exchanging postcards internationally so wish the description text was positioned differently since the stamps will cover the text sometimes. But the art is beautiful on the postcards.

Terrific spot to buy Chicago-related retail. Shirts, games, cards, socks, shower curtains, and more. One of my favorite places to buy gifts for friends.

Very nice souvenir shop. Beware, they don’t have a shirt with the L map on it.They do have a very nice selection of pins, though.
