For the most part, I've pretty much have only had good experiences at this Trader Joe's. The parking lot is not very big like typical TJ fashion, so if you are coming via a car during peak shopping hours, good luck to you. It's a close walk to the Brown line L station which may be convenient for some. Most of the employees I've encountered here are typically friendly and helpful as well. I would say that's always generally across the board for Trader Joe's though which is why I love returning. Prices have certainly gone up in the last few years with inflation and COVID, but I still find TJ's to have certain items that I can't live without and still (IMO) affordable when comparing to other general grocery stores such as Jewel Osco or Mariano's. I really wish they'd put a Trader Joe's in the Andersonville/Uptown area. It would flourish.

This Trader Joe’s location has a great selection, as they usually do. The thing with this location is that it is PACKED. There’s no space to breathe in the store, and it takes a long time for a parking space to be available. Not to mention the spaces are way too small. Overall, the produce section is extremely well-kept and has plenty of options.

My 1st time here and I was surprised how not expensive it was and how polite the workers we're. Even when I was standing by the cheese department customer right next to me.A worker came up because she went to the back to get something that she needed. I like that they went above and beyond. Nice to have seen this.

Love this Tjs! P much nothing negative to say as they keep it well stocked, well run by good fun ppl, and it's p big. Parking is usually easy unless you go on a super busy day like day before holidays. I don't love that there's a resident homeless person outside by the pet store but it is what it is. He doesn't bother anyone so even when I go alone as a solo young woman I don't feel unsafe. 10/1 Tjs

What’s not to love. I walked in during the mayhem of pre Christmas. I asked for non scented candles. The staff was courteous and cheery. How? It was chaotic at that strip mall. They smiled and even walked me over to where I would find what I needed. I would go more often if the area were not so congested. That is not their fault.

Get really busy on weekends

This location has a good assortment of items, with very friendly service. The location is really convenient to the neighborhood, but the parking lot can become jammed in the evenings and on the weekends (and is not easy to navigate on foot with minimal sidewalks and ramps for pedestrians). The staff here are always helpful, and tend to always make sure the number of checkout lanes is appropriate for the customer queues. For kids, be on the lookout for the purple monkey (named "Reggie") hidden somewhere in the store -- find it and you can get a special treat at the checkout.

Yasmin, a crew member in the plant area is terrific. She provided lots of information about to make our amaryllis last longer and maybe bloom again in the spring. She's wonderful!

Helpful and friendly staff, quality items. I love their seasonal specials around the holidays - especially around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Wine selection is awesome, too!
