Often enough, I dine-in and get the daily special. Food is always fresh and fantastic and while you are waiting, they will offer samples of soup or other culinary delights. This time we ordered catering for a retiree party. 2 full trays of beef, 1 full tray of meatballs, 1 full tray of smoked beans and 1 full tray of roasted veggies. It came with all the buns, mild and hot giardiniera and roasted peppers. Everything was delicious. All trays were empty in 30 minutes! Thanks guys!

I tried them twice on different days, I ordered the corned beef sandwich the first time was good, the second time I got corned beef sh8avings only and it was so overcooked and dried i threw half of thatsandwich away.

Overall, pretty darn good! I would give 4.5-5 stars.One of the best pastrami sandwiches I’ve had in the city. Mac and cheese was pretty decent! The chicken parm sandwich was good but the chicken cutlet could’ve used more seasoning..lacking salt.Def will be coming back!

I ordered the St Patrick's dinner for 4 tonight, and everything was included! I cannot begin to describe how delicious and easy it was. I hadn't tried Top Butcher until now and now your I am your #1 fan. Thank you for making this a tradition, no more cooking for St Patrick's Day. ☘️ Also looking forward to picking up from your dinner selections.

I wish I had taken pics of our food! Stopped in for lunch and tried a few different sandwiches. The Pastrami was absolutely perfect. Love the space in there. They carry some bougie cheeses, meats, sauces and snack items, too! Love having this place in the neighborhood.

This market/butcher/sandwich shop is truly a hidden gem. They've supplied some of Chicagos best sausage and steak stands for years, now they're kicking out some of Chicagos best sandwiches. We tried almost everything (had a big group)... highlights were one of the best corned beef's anywhere, a killer steak sandwich, and a sausage recipe that goes back 3 generations. We're so glad we found this Chicago family business.. phenomenal food, friendly fast service in a comfortable clean space. Easy 5 stars here!

This place is an absolute gem. The brisket is so tender and juicy, the pulled pork succulent in the portions are amazing. I personally would recommend the beef brisket, but I couldn’t decide between fries and tater tots so I got both which is way too much food for one sitting. The staff is friendly and works quickly. Next time you want brisket, go here and dine in. There’s always something on TV

I agree with the customer who said you would want to buy everything in there Great variety of meats and seasoning, nuts, honey etc. I ordered skirt steak, baby back ribs, and pulled pork. All were very tasty and plenty of meat on the sandwiches ?

First time here today, and was NOT disappointed. The eggplant sandwich was delicious. The potato soup also very tasty. I also purchased a jar of Mauro Provision hot giardiniera and that was good too. Great customer service! Thank you.

I would give the food they make there a 4 or 5 star. The catering is not something I would recommend.I got a burnt turkey, and it was handed to me with a smile. They knew it was burned and embarrassed me on Thanksgiving. I was so confused as to why they would give me a burnt turkey. I tried to get ahold of someone there and have not been contacted since. What I got was not what I expected to show and enjoy with my family. It has been over a month since there has been any follow up. Disappointingly served and handled.The turkey in picture is before I was to heat it up in oven with the instructions given.
