F this place. Never shop here at this location again. I usually don't write reviews but I had to this time. Kept giving them another chance since the service here has been terrible the last few times I dealt with them. Came to purchase replacement blinds today, no one was at the desk for help. I needed to get them cut. 3 different employees tried calling someone for assistance, no one came. 30 minutes later I left and went to Lowe's. Was in and out in 15 minutes. Also don't count on them to install anything in a reasonable time frame. I could keep going on about my other experiences with this location but it will require me to make some more individual reviews/threads. Annoying how the quality of service with everything has gone down.

I just closed on my house today and I was excited to have Home Depot right across the street.. I arrived around 8:30pm to get a key made and to open up a credit card so that I can start doing business at this location.. I was told by 4 associates that were gathered in a group chatting that the hardware associate was already gone for the day so that I would not be able to get a key made.. Horrible customer service.. I will take my business elsewhere..

I was there today trying to buy a vinyl roll on aisle 8. A very nice and courteous employee paged someone to help me. After 15 minutes wait they paged someone again. 5 minutes later after waiting 20 minutes for someone to help me I went to the flooring dept. desk and told her about my situation and instead of helping me she told me it would be another 15 minutes. I went back to aisle 8 because there was an employee there and he could not help me at the moment I asked him to hurry up and his manager (a gang member with his gang member attitude started yelling at me. I went to get the store manager and I was finally helped!!! Why do you hire people with poor customer skills??? AND why do you make them managers???? Very rude people at that store among the few very nice ones!!!

25 plus years entering themDoors and it can't get no better than that. I love there staff . Al team players, managers are amazing. When in last night last minute on a emergency walked out everything needed . Brickyard Home Depot out shine's any other hardware store. This location has a curb side pick up, when it's not that at all.Call it pick up parking not curb side. No one comes out to give you anything.From the moment you go to the pick up counter, they don't acknowledge you.Then you have people looking like it's still Halloween, with some 3" eye lashes and piercings and color hair.Definitely need to improve the customer service. No thank you or how can I help you.Or do you need help putting those item in you vehicle.How in the hell does the managers or people that are in charge let this from ever happen.

If I could leave no stars I would, I’ve had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I recently bought a dryer, I changed my mind the same day, two hours later went back to the store and wanted an upgrade from the one I had picked out, and the same rep Alex, had told me I couldn’t cancel the order. So when this dryer finally did arrive , after using it a couple times I noticed that it took 3 cycles to properly dry anything. I tried calling the store but because it was past their 48 hours they weren’t liable. I had to go through the manufacture. Trying with them I’ve had two technicians come out and look at it, first one saying it wasn’t hooked up properly & the second one wanting to replace a part ON A NEW DRYER. Being as it was defective I went back to the store, Kathy the floor manager was extremely rude, responding in such a manner with no empathy or care for what I was explaining. I don’t even know why they have someone like her representing the company if she has no care for what the customers need. As her having a manager position, I’d think she would be a bit more helpful. When asked for her District Managers name and number she told me to google it. I understand it is policy, but it was absurd to me. That I couldn’t even exchange the dryer I picked THE SAME DAY. Now it feels like they just wanted the sale and didn’t care about anything else. As a customer since I bought my home in 2008. All my appliances have been purchased from the same location. I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated with having to deal with this.

NEGATIVE stars if I could. Bought a dryer and tried upgrading same day but was told we weren't able to. We ended up getting the dryer delivered that didn't work from the beginning. Instead of a simple return or exchange management, specifically Kathy, refuse to be helpful and do their job. We've had to go through the manufacturer for further help, just to be told it was first connected wrong, then a second technician wanting to repair something on a NEW dryer. Still not working. Home Depot management has no sense of problem solving or simple understanding. And when explaining to Kathy, she lacked even the simple courtesy to hear us out properly. Literally useless and extremely frustrating being stuck with a "new" dryer that doesn't even work, and have no one on site to accurately problem solve.

When I first moved to the neighborhood where I now live I asked Siri to locate the nearest Home Depot so I could take care of several needs related to the move. Siri directed me to the store at the Brickyard Mall in Chicago. Interestingly, Siri asked me if I was sure that I wanted to use this store as it had terrible reviews. I decided to try it out as it as conveniently located. Since then I've had opportunity to confirm that the terrible reviews are more than justified. Most of the personnel I have encountered at the store can range from indifferent to outright discourteous . The woman at the Pro Service counter on November 30th, 2022 around 2:30 P.M. certainly qualified as one of the rudest customer service employees I have ever met. However, the persistence of this problem does not only reflect poorly on the quality of this Home Depot store, it is indicative of a serious fault of management. No wonder the customer reviews at this store website do not feature one single positive review.

I will never go into this Home Depot again. They are very rude. They racial profile people and treat people like a criminal. I have been doing business with them for over 20 years and I get treated like a criminal the one day that I forget my wallet I forget my wallet and I try to pay with a picture of my card do it as like a phone sale and they treated me like a criminal I will never go into this establishment again. I made a complaint with corporate office and hopefully it gets to the right hands and they will not be treating us Latinos like we're criminals just because I have tattoos they racial profiled me.

Worst customer service at the customer service counter today!!! Unfriendly staff and waited an hour for help!! Website stated 18 in stock for countertops and none were even available!! Staff stated must be the trucks haven’t landed and did not offer to look up item at other stores!! I spend tons here refurbishing homes

I was very disappointed with the service at this store. I went in to get keys made, there was a girl making a key for a gentleman and I was in line behind him. After she finished with his keys, she walked away with me standing in line and went to talk to the 4 other employees standing near the cash register. I waited a minute to see if she was going to walk back over, but instead she left. So, I walked over to the other employees standing there and asked if she was coming back and they said that's not her department. Her department or not, she could have acknowledged I was there and gotten someone else to help me. I stood there longer while the other employee called for someone, but no one came. I understand if it's your break or you were just helping out...but at least say something to me. I'll go to Ace Hardware from now on.
