I searched for months for a Mother of the Bride dress. A friend suggested I contact Thierry. From the moment we met, what had been a stressful process became a joy!I was sure of what I was looking for, or so I thought. Thierry listened patiently and then suggested excellent modifications to my concept based on my figure and the tone my daughter had in mind. He was spot on.His choices of materials were extensive and stunning. My daughter accompanied me to the first visit and we were both thrilled with the meeting and ultimately with the final result.Thierry made the process such a delight that I had him make my Rehearsal Dinner dress as well. I have never had two dresses that fit me so perfectly. I felt spectacular in them!Thank you, Thierry, for your guidance, patience and your beautiful finished product.

I highly recommend Thierry. From the moment you walk into Thierry’s home, you are met with friendly elegance. I am in always in love with all of the gorgeous, luxurious fabrics he has in his studio and available for special order - everything from bright florals to classic Chanel fabrics, he can design the perfect attire for any special event. I have purchased ready-made designs and silk scarves and have had Thierry design one-of-a-kind couture dresses for formal events, weddings, and business events. Thierry understands my individual preference and provides honest recommendations and feedback on the most beautiful fabric options and design to fit the occasion and, above all, what will be most flattering. He genuinely loves what he does and it shows in the incredible quality and service he provides to his clients. I can’t say enough about my experience with Thierry over the last 6 years. Magnifique! Et meme plus que cela!I first met Thierry when he was couterier for Chalk Boutique in Evanston. I was sad when Chalk closed. Then I found it impossible to find a dress for my daughter’s wedding:1. She wanted long and i usually wear short2. Canvassing even the best stores seemed to divide these dresses into two camps:A: Too sexy for a mother of the bride look or overpowering the brideB: Like something my great grandmother would wear.I reached out to Thierry, exasperated by the shopping experience. He crafted THE PERFECT dress. He listens so carefully then takes his experience and creativity and worked with me till together we came up with the perfect look. I like how he didn’t just take my thoughts and created a conversation between us so we could discover the perfect balance.Since then, Thierry has made some summer and winter skirts for work and parties, casual and formal dresses, and pants for me. I always feel both perfectly and uniquely dressed.Thierry stands by his work. When after wearing i wasn’t fully satisfied with the fit, he’s bent over backwards to get it right.I cannot more highly recommend Thierry.Mary

Thierry is a blessing. Who would imagine that one could find as talented and thoughtful a fashion designer as Thierry in Chicago? I spent months and many anxious moments searching for a dress for a particular event. Then, one Sunday night, Thierry's name appeared on my Insta feed. Never have I been so enchanted and frankly, relieved. Tucked away in his well appointed house on the NW side Thierry's atelier is filled with well chosen fabrics and designs. There are fabulous fabrics with interesting and imaginative designs and textures. Thanks to Thierry's talented eye and discerning taste and skill you can count on an amazing result. He understands how to take advantage of our best assets and disguise the ones we would rather forget. I have two dresses (so far) and both make me feel like Cinderella at the ball. Bottom line: Thierry is a pleasure to work with. He is careful and honest and he has incredibly good taste. You cannot go wrong with a frock from Thierry Roger design.

I highly recommend Thierry. A friend referred me when I was having difficulty finding a gown for my son’s wedding. From the start I knew I was in good hands. Thierry is an exceptionally talented designer and his fabrics and workmanship are beyond compare. His sketches captured exactly what I was looking for. He was also able to make a dress for the rehearsal dinner which had a completely different feel from the gown. Thierry is very personable, patient, kind, organized and easy to work with. The entire experience exceeded my expectations and I look forward to working with Thierry in the future.

I'm so happy to have discovered Thierry Roger! As a touring concert violinist, I have very specific needs for the gowns that I wear onstage. The fabric must look beautiful up close as well as striking from a far distance. The dress must not wrinkle when in a suitcase for numerous hours. It must hold up after frequent wearings and not become discolored from heavy sweating. And of course, the cut of the garment must accommodate the physical motions of playing the violin. In other words, it has to look like it belongs on the red carpet but function like athletic gear! I'm thrilled that Thierry was able to accomplish all of this and make dresses that are flattering and that I'm excited to wear each time I put them on. It's a pleasure to work with him and witness his creativity and artistry. I look forward to collaborating on more gowns!

Most highly recommended. Thierry made me an outfit for my son’s wedding. I have never had a custom-made outfit and the experience with Thierry exceeded all my expectations. I envisioned a nontraditional elegant outfit comprised of pants and a duster. Thierry was the best partner for the journey from listening to my needs, brainstorming, designing and carefully executing the outfit of my dreams. The result is so me and I feel beautiful wearing it. I have the highest regard for his creativity, talent, and professionalism. He is warm, personable, and patient and I couldn’t have been happier. Thierry, I already miss our appointments.

Thierry created a beautifully elegant yet modern dress for me for my son's wedding. His access to one of a couture fabrics was extraordinary. He was able to work within a tight 6 week time frame - and was nothing but charming and easy to work with throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Thierry's work!

Mother of the bride dress....yipes . Yes any person involved in this experience knows the stress to find the perfect stunning dress that is both appropriate and does not out shine the bride. I had been looking in stores across the country and could find nothing that complimented my figure . I was at a loss and definitely depressed......and then i found Thierry . Needless to say he was my hero in shining armor . He has a vision , was able to take my figure and design a dress that was so complementary and a winner. His fabrics are couture , unbelievably beautiful but I think what is so amazing about him is the time he takes with his multiple fittings to make the dress just fit so perfectly. Thierry is nothing short of awesome ...i will be back xx

This is long overdue!! I had the pleasure of being introduced to Thierry last year. He created the most magnificent coat for me and I am a client for life? He has also designed several other pieces for me that I can’t wait to wear once this virus is behind us! I should probably schedule my appointment soon for my red dress!
