My first time and I had a terrible experience. After walking over 15mins under the rain I was going to get turned back because I didn't have a 1.50 to properly seal the box. What a terrible way to treat customers.

Great store! Very nice and well kept. Printed a bunch of posters and got great help. There used to be a UPS store on Devon and it was terrible - it’s so great to have a good UPS back in the neighborhood!

As a small business owner here in Rogers Park, I try to support other neigborhood businesses. I have to keep everything within walking distance as I am legally blind and do not drive. This makes for careful planning of carrying heavy packages down to the store.(too close for an Uber). Yesterday (sunday) I made sure 1. they were open and 2. what time they were open. The website clearly said 12-5pm. Alas they were NOT open. Yet on the door it says "open 7 days a week" and today the site says closed on Sundays even though I checked it again yesterday.Today (Monday) i ventured down again. only to have an extremely upsetting encoutner with a very rude assistant.I mail packages as a business customer. I am well aware of all the necessary documentation required to ship internationally. I am also aware of the prices nationally and internationally as I usually do this from home and pay a fee for UPS pick up. BUT I thought this would be easier. And yes, I understand it is expensive to ship to Denmark and yes, I was going to continue with the shipment because I run a business. The assistant didn't want to help me if I wasn't then going to proceed once I knew the price. (well I didn't ship in the end)As I asked relevant quesitons, I was told that I would have to move aside as there was a line forming behind me (one person). I, too, am a customer, so I didn't move aside and instead kept asking my questions. As I am well versed on the pricing of UPS shipping, I realise that this store charges a fair amount more.Long story short, rude assistant, didn't get any questions answered and was totally dismissed. Had to walk back with all the packages. (Did I mention I am not young?)Will not be back.

4/14 edit: the owner brings up some valid points -- my frustration stems from being encouraged to use a self-service option that was not, indeed, ready to be used without assistance on multiple fronts. I could have asked for assistance a second time, but I feel that defeats the purpose of a self-service option to begin with. I've updated my star rating and hopefully we can agree that both parties (myself included) could have done a bit more to be helpful.---To print a document, you have to follow a needlessly lengthy process that's very buggy. It's a silly waste of time for a simple ask.We were told to use one of their computers to print the document. The computer wasn't turned on and the power switch wasn't accessible to customers.After they turned it on, it took five minutes to turn on. Then, it wouldn't successfully process payments. This entire time, there were multiple employees who could have stepped in to assist. Spoiler alert: they didn't.The reply from the owner shows they didn't carefully read what I wrote:The self service option was essentially non-functional. It wasn't even turned on and, once turned on, refused to process our payments. They paint a picture that we didn't want to do it ourselves when, in fact, the self service option wasn't working and no one seemed to care or apologize.

Matt was excellent. I had a series of complicated shipping requests over several days. Matt was patient, polite, and competent. He took special care in getting all of my orders packed and shipped correctly. Everything arrived in good order- where and when it needed to be. I received excellent customer service. Thank you, Matt!
