The Magnificent Mile Association is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing Chicago's North Michigan Avenue district. The area it serves is described as a beautiful, iconic, and very high-end part of downtown Chicago, considered an absolute must for visitors. It is a huge tourist attraction with lots to see and do, known for being very clean and safe, with a noticeable presence of uniformed police officers. This magnificent area is close to everything and provides a days worth of fun alone. Visitors enjoy a beautiful walk, especially during the summer, with wide, well-maintained sidewalks. It features amazing architecture that leaves you in awe, interesting art pieces for photo opportunities, and the famous "Bean." There are plentiful options ranging from very high-end to more practical stores, alongside tons of great dining options featuring cuisine from all over the world, including exceptional plant-based dining. The area also offers easy access to other tourist attractions and is near public transportation, with train stops just a short walk away. The Magnificent Mile is a really fun area to stroll, with a beautiful starlit Chicago skyline, and is an area that visitors would definitely visit or spend a few days in again.

I walk this way to work everyday. Incredible people watching. Chicago is great, people are vey nice and this is possibly the cleanest large city I have ever lived in!

During the summer, this is a beautiful walk. If you need to take an Uber, go to large hotel or landmark since service is spotty and it's easier for them to pick you up. Chicago is a beautiful city with so many fun things to do and see.
