If you want a very fresh burger then this is the place. I am pretty sure we saw the waitress go buy the buns and tomato's right after we ordered the burgers. The atmosphere is great and the drink selection is extensive.

Came here after going to the Glunz Tavern and got us a bottle. House Of Glunz is the other side of the business where you can get liquor to go. It operates the same time as the restaurant. Good variety of products in here. There's plenty of wines but also spirits. Bottles here are a variety of prices so it's possible to find something for anyone. It has a pretty good amount in stock. There's plenty of reds and whites. Cheapest is about $18 a bottle. The place isn't that big so there's not a humongous selection. Prices are higher than big stores but that's expected. This is a good way to buy local. For some pretty good wines you can get a few. It also has quite a few beers and liquors. The prices aren't the best you can find for these, which is the only bad thing.

Best shop in the city. They always are the most professional and friendly people I have ever met. They are dog friendly and even have treats for your dogs. I highly recommend if you need anything while in Gold Coast, this is your spot.

Wow! Customer Service at it's finest!A friend asked if I wanted to walk over to our local wine store in our neighborhood. Since we are neighbors, we met up on the corner and headed over. The Old Town building is big, with that cool vintage charm. A sidewalk patio has been added for the warm weather. There is a wine store and gastro pub connected. So that patio would be great for al fresco dining or wine sipping. Upon arrival, we realized the wine shop was closed but the owner or manager hopped up from his glass of wine to open the store just for us. Wow! That is impressive. The shop is packed full of unique wines at great prices. We didn't stay long because we didn't want to keep this nice man from his beverage outside. We just picked up a couple of bottles of the wine we couldn't find at the big stores. But I will definitely return to shop around during regular business hours. I have dined at their connected restaurant/pub in the past and might just head over for lunch this weekend!!

If you are ever looking for that bottle of wine that you can't find anywhere else, go here. I love a nice Gruner Veltliner And they have it! The liquor store part was closed when we got there but the owner was sitting outside and he was nice enough to go in and turn on the lights and let us shop. Now that it's customer service.
