We stayed here over the weekend while moving our son and daughter in law from Missouri into their apartment in Chicago near the guesthouse hotel. This is by far the nicest place we have ever stayed! I would have moved in if I could have! We got upgraded to a 2 bedroom/2 bath suite. SO BEAUTIFUL! Every detail was perfect, the decor, the well stocked kitchen and plenty of linens and towels. The lobby area was beautiful as well! Very cozy, stylish and clean.The location was great for us. The street was not busy, was very well-lit and there were many places within walking distance to get something to eat/drink/necessities. We felt completely safe.A special shout out to Connor at the front desk. He was so friendly and always very helpful whenever we had any questions.We will definitely stay here anytime we come to visit!

We stayed here after an AirBnB mishap and it ended up being a blessing in disguise as The Guest House was amazing! We had two dogs and it very dog friendly with bowls and doggie beds. Everything was clean, well appointed, and the area felt safe. The Guest House is in the Andersonville neighborhood which is full of many cute bars and restaurants. Shout out specifically to Zoe who helped me book the suite last minute and had answers to every question we asked. She was amazing! When we come back to Chicago, this will be our new first choice for accommodations. Thank you!

What a lovely experience and beautiful hotel! The staff were amazing and also always available for our questions and to give recommendations. The details were so thoughtful around the lounge and lobby and we enjoyed having a spacious two bedroom suite. It was tucked in a charming neighborhood and we enjoyed walking down the street to the local coffee shop and cute plant store. Would love to stay here again!

Stayed at the Guesthouse Hotel for a weekend in Chicago. Wanted a hotel fairly close to Wrigley field as we would be attending a Cubs game. The hotel served its purpose for us, a family with two teenage boys. The two-bedroom option was large, clean, was nice to have two full bathrooms, and the full kitchen was nice even though we like to dine out while on vacation and not cook, we only used the fridge. Beds were comfortable, A/C worked well. Balcony was very small and on top of or beside all of the other balconies, so no privacy and just a view of the parking garages and junk cars from the auto repair shop next door. The only TV was in the living/kitchen area, no TV in the bedrooms. For the luxury prices, I would think there would be a TV in the bedroom. Also, no USB plugs, except one in the back of an old-style alarm clock beside the bed.Parking turned out to be nice. I emailed ahead of time to notify the hotel that I would need parking as their confirmation email requested. Parking is limited, and a tight squeeze in enclosed garages, be sure to request parking before you arrive.Location was close to several restaurants and numerous local independent shops along Clark St. If you are looking for a location in Chicago within walking distance of more than just restaurants and local shops, or one of the theaters, this is not your place. We walked up Clark St for an hour and saw all that we wanted. Other than that, we rented bikes for a 1.9 mile ride to Wrigley Field and Uber everywhere else so we didn’t have to pay for parking again.Overall, the Guesthouse Hotel was nice and I would recommend if you have an extended stay, a need for space, and the location meets your needs. For the price, I expected more luxurious accommodations. You are paying for size of the rooms, not necessarily luxurious amenities or location.

Exceeded all expectations! Great staff, stylish lobby, the rooms are full apartments with everything you could wish for. Huge and spacious, super clean and quiet.You can literally walk to everything on Clark Street in Andersonville. Shops, restaurants, boutiques, book stores, wine shop, etc....I am from Chicago and was visiting. Will stay here every time now!

I was researching hotels for a stay with my family. My kids are a teen and college aged so we prefer to get a larger hotel room/rooms when going out of town. I wanted something more then the usual suite hotel rooms. I stumbled on this boutique hotel during my research. What a gem. We stayed in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath suite. It was basically a house. I believe the website said it was 1800 square feet. The suite was immaculate: So clean and fresh. We were all happy with what we saw when we arrived. It was soooooo roomy. So comfortable. Beds were great. More storage and closet space then you could ever even need during your stay. Even the bathroom had a huge closet. Closets on the long hallways. Full size washer and dryer as well as a full kitchen. Balcony with w table and bbq. There was a great rooftop deck. The master shower was so relaxing. All the employees we had contact with were nice and extremely helpful. The garage parking was nice to have. It was all the little details that added to it. Even down to the Beekman soaps, lotions and shampoos. This is definitely the only place we will stay on future trips. I was impressed that pricing was the same as it was going to be at the Emb*** Suites and wow there is absolutely no comparison at all. Lobby was also beautifully decorated. Highly recommend.

Cleanliness and friendly staff. Secure parking in remote controlled electrical door garage just steps away from door to the hotel. Security cameras as well.
