This is our third visit to the Grateful Dog and I absolutely love it. I have a one and a half-year-old Australian Shepherd and he comes out looking perfect every time!

Stopped by after 4pm on a Friday to get my father's dog a nail trim. Dog wasn't to receptive to getting his nails trimmed. Female groomer was calm and efficient. 5 minutes later I was out the door.

I gave this place 2 tries. First, years ago I had my mini poodle and left because she was being rude and unhelpful. It was as if she didn't even want the business. Okay, so it's near me and I decided years later to try again with my mini schnauzer. I gave her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she was having a bad morning that day years ago when she was rude. But nope. She was the same except even worse now. I didn't have the proof of rabies shot on my phone as I thought. She called the vet and said she couldn't get through. Strange. Ok so I called and I got through. They immediately sent me the proof. After she viewed it and did something in the computer, she says "you know I'm just going to reschedule you". Wow. After I had expressed to her how hard it was to get an appointment that I could make it to with my work schedule and that my dog was overdue to be groomed. She did not care. She is unprofessional and unwelcoming. Honestly, I'm surprised she still has a business going being this way with customers.

After being a customer for more than 2 years, Rebecca would not take my dog without medication, because she is anxious and refused her at her appt, then the next time we were a 15 minutes late and she refused her again, even though we were a long time customers, and had NEVER been late before she refused a medicated dog after we had been going to her for years that was the last straw.

I moved in the West Ridge community with hopes of finding the right dog groomer for my pets; I found one, it's with The Grateful Dog on Western - Rebecca is the best - great and clean facility - great customer service - great personality - and a great person to take care of your dog's grooming needs. I wish I could give "10" STARS. My dogs were extremely happy too. Thank you so very much for doing a great job grooming my babies. Top notch service.

Thankful to have found someone after we moved that can be trusted with our furry friend. Grateful Dog always does a stellar job with the bath but more importantly doesn’t put our dog in a cage after she’s done while she waits for us to pick her up (she gets nervous in those). Won’t be going anywhere else as long as we live around here.

What a nail trim cost in 2020 was $10. Here in 2023 the cost of that same nail trim is an even $15 at The Grateful Dog, a 33.3% increase. The inflation rate from 2020 to 2023 was a mere 15% and some change opposed to to the price hike of 33.3% for a simple nail trim. This is another example of inflation gouging and not the likes of a Deadhead!

I just moved to the area and found this groomer from yelp! She was amazing! My dogs look so great! I always get nervous trying a new groomer having Pomeranians. I loved how she did my little ones tail! Looks like a pom pom!! We will be returning!

I have been coming here for years. They do a good job, but I was literally a couple of minutes late and she canceled my appointment. When I walked in she was extremely rude and argumentative, and said I was "wasting her time." I was a couple of minutes late, I've never been late before, and had an emergency that I was attending to which is why I was running a few moments behind. There were no other dogs there at the time. I won't be bringing my dog back to someone so disrespectful.

This is the first time I took Farrah to be groomed. Farrah is a rescue, she’s been with us since September. She was scared of everything! What I liked about The Grateful Dog is how peaceful it is. I’m a dog walker and I have taken dogs to other places that were crazy! Dogs barking in crates, hair dyers blasting , just too much! I wanted Farrah to have a great experience and I believe she did. Thank you for treating our little girl so well! .

My puppy has been coming here for her grooming appointments for a couple months now. They do such a great job and keep my pup calm! She’s always happy to go back. I just wish their scheduling system was more accurate and their website to schedule wasn’t always down. Also when you call to get an appointment it’s super hard. I’ve been waiting over a month and have another month to go before her appointment date. Always schedule everything a year in advance.

I have been taking my Rosie for years here and I love it! I like the fact that when you walk in you see everything. The dogs are not crated instead they are put in a play pen type of area which I love because I dislike having my dog crated for hours at other places. The girl that works there is super nice and always takes care of my baby well. Definitely recommend this place.
