Our experience with the teacher during our child's transition in September last year was quite unpleasant. One morning when I dropped my kid off he DID HIDE himself under the cubby shelf when seeing his teacher. It broke my heart to hear him telling me ‘Mommy I want to go’. Few weeks before that incident my kid refused to go to TGS which raised our concerns. As a mother I am not quite happy with how one teacher at TGS treated my kid, period.

We love Gardner! The staff is fantastic and caring as can be. They took great care of our daughter and even after just a few weeks, we noticed advancements in both her abilities and understanding cues. Additionally, they made it as seamless as possible to onboard, get billing & logistics all figured out, and overall, make us as parents feel comfortable. We’d recommend Gardner to anyone looking for top notch care for their child.

I now have two children at Gardner West Loop and feel truly blessed with the experience we have had there- so much so that we put off moving another year so that our second child could attend somewhere we feel so confident in. As new parents leaving your baby with anyone is very difficult but since our first day at Gardner we felt welcomed and taken care of. I know both my boys are loved on, played with and taught each and every day and I value all that the amazing teachers and admin do to support them. Every adult in the school knows my kids by name and they go out of their way to speak to me about him. I feel heard by the staff if I do have any concerns, my communication is Always welcomed and responses always timely. The community feels small and warm, we feel proud to be a part of it.

My son is currently enrolled in their TWOs class. He loves the everyday activities such as Art class, nature walk and circle time. The teachers and staffs are very nice and patient. I also like their communication app which share photos, videos, newsletters and more.

This is a wonderful school that fully supports not only students, but parents as well. With affordable pricing and great standards of care, you will find that there is no better daycare within the community. We are truly grateful for TGS and the wonderful work they have done with our son. Our little boy comes home saying new words every day due to his teachers and they have truly brought him out of his shell and into a world of comfort and unrivaled education.

We have been at Gardner for nearly 3 years. Both of my daughters started in the 2s classrooms with the oldest finishing Pre-K last year. We have loved Gardner for many reasons - loving teachers and assistants, great blend of academic and play based learning, and the entire staff's genuine effort to make it a special community for the kids and their families. Beyond daily activities, they host many special events including a fall/Halloween fest, holiday recital, and a super fun "Camp Gardner" summer for the kids. My girls are always excited to go to school each morning and we highly recommend Gardner!

My daughter loves this school and her teachers. They do a lot of diverse activities which keeps them busy during the day. She even takes violin there which she loves! It is clean & opens early which I love. They have a great app which sends hourly updates, pics, and food log. The staff is also great and very responsive, creative and positive.

Yesterday my family parted ways with The Gardner School and I couldn't be more happy and grateful. With a month of care, my son broke out in hives, came home with stratches daily, and even noticed a change in his private area concern. The facility needs regular cleaning. One of the teachers smelled like a carton of cigarettes upon drop off. For a place where families are paying a whole mortgage, I would have expected better service. I visited the place once and at a glance it appeared so trustworthy. I do know the business can be ran a lot more smoothly and children can be provided with higher quality services. More of a place to take money from families. You can not talk with the director, she has an avoidance communication style. She told me her workers could not tend to my sons need. With regular feedings and frequent diaper changes. All the director seems to care about is money and promoting her business so she can feed her own pockets. Not the best investment in your funds and I wouldn't return. Graciously, parting ways and praying my sons photos would be removed from her website where they intend to further promote their business.

This is an absolutely amazing center!! My daughter is almost 1 and her experience has been great. She stopped crying only after two days and even interacts with staff other than her teachers. I believe it’s because all of the staff are welcoming and kind. It was important for me to also have a diverse community of kids and staff, which this is one of the few daycares we’ve been too where she had teachers and other kids that look like her. I also love the communication!! Her teachers keep us well informed throughout the day about what she’s doing, which eases our worries as well. The cost is a bit pricey but definitely worth it in my opinion.

After a lot of inconsistent and not great care during Covid, we made our way to the Gardner School for preschool last January. Initially, there was some teacher turnover, but we landed with Ms. Cornelia and we couldn't have asked for a better preschool teacher. She is incredibly qualified, creative and has a high bar for the kids in her class both academically and socially. You can tell she cares about each child and is passionate about her craft. My son, who really had a hard time transitioning to preschool with some challenging behaviors and is neurodiverse, has made so much growth in the last year due to her leadership - I am eternally grateful for her. I wish she could be his teacher for forever! She makes accommodations and adjustments so all the class can work together to learn and help each other. The students all know each other's favorite colors and activities and have real care, friendships and empathy for each other. She explicitly teaches them these skills as well as conflict resolution while teaching very complex academic skills. It's a significant investment, but I know the majority of kids in my son's class ( my son included) did well on the CPS selective enrollment process and are all going to great elementary schools. We've taken advantage of the enrichment sign-ups as well which are great to build well-rounded skills, my son has learned a lot of Spanish and has the basics of many sports down due to the enrichments. If you have a 3-4 year old and are looking for a great program to prepare them for K, and for life, this is the place!

My son started going here around 4 months old and has been there for about 4 months now and he loves it! I was nervous at first as a first time mom dropping my baby off with "strangers", but he has had a great experience. The school uses an app to communicate sleep, bottles, bathroom and other notes during the day. You can message the teachers or admins directly too. I usually get 3-4 pictures during the day to see what he's doing and feel like I can always quickly get in touch with someone if I need to. His teacher, Ms. Tiffany, really loves him and he gets the biggest smile when he sees her in the morning. There are other teachers that float or care for him during the day at times, (Ms. Jessica, Maira, Leslie and Lydia as examples) and they are all really kind and care about the kids. In the infant rooms they have story time, do bubbles, sing, play with toys, etc. He rolled, sits, and started crawling, and I think that's because of the good skill development time he gets during the day. Ms. Tiffany really cares about his development and talks to me about the things he's working on and how we can help him. He's also getting good social experience interacting with other babies and adults! Your daycare should be an extension of your family because this person/people will be caring for and helping your child grow, and we feel great about our decision to go here with Ms. Tiffany and the crew!

We love my son's current teacher Ms. Angelina. She is very professional, full of love and positive energy. She knows my son inside and out, she is very caring but also knows when to be firm with him. My mind is in peace when my son is in Ms. Angelina's hand. We can't thank her enough!
