Lollie has been amazing to work with and has been extremely patient and informative throughout the process of designing a ring, especially for beginners like ourselves. I was super impressed that after our initial appointment, Lollie shared some additional ideas — one of which actually made the final design — which shows the high level of care they provide.
Overall, the service we received was amazing, and I plan on coming back for additional pieces. I would highly recommend them out for any jewelry needs!

I was referred to Lollie and the Classic Gem from a friend. It was a fantastic experience! They made my husband and I feel like family as soon as we walked in the door. The entire team is knowledgeable, thoughtful and really cares about their customers. We never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision before we felt ready. We bought our wedding bands from them and they took their time with sizing and making sure we were happy with the final product. They also had the best pricing compared to other businesses in the area.
Each step of the process was seamless, and everything was always delivered on time or early! They also provided free ring cleaning services multiple times for me even though I did not purchase an engagement ring from them. We highly recommend anyone to work them for the highest quality jewelry and personalized service from a local family-owned business! Thank you Lollie and team!

My husband and I had an amazing experience with Classic Gem and worked with the oh so knowledgeable Lollie! she really takes the time to address your concerns, listens to your ideas and provides feedback of her own. We got my custom engagement from classic gem and the whole process was seamless. I was able to pick the ring that I wanted and Lollie was able to provide timely updates as to how far the ring was when it went into production. The classic gem is fantastic! Jenny was so helpful and kind in the process of creating my fiancée’s dream engagement ring and managing my excitement, anxiety, and a million and one questions. We went back for our wedding bands and Jenny told my fiancée that she felt like she already knew her! She also didn’t blink an eye at us being a lesbian couple or make any assumptions which is always appreciated, especially in the wedding industry :) We’re so grateful for her and her team’s passion and expertise, and all three rings will be lifelong treasures ❤️

I can't thank The Classic Gem enough for my incredible experience and ring! We were referred to them and are so glad because we had no idea where to start. Kara helped guide me and my fiancé through everything as beginners and we really appreciated it! We tried in so many various styles and she really had the patience of a saint.
We ended up with a 3-stone ring with oval stones, which she recommended to us. I knew I wanted an oval but wanted it to be unique and she really hit it right on the head.
After our initial consult, David took over and they pulled off the most intense process of sourcing the 3 perfect diamonds and proportions I wanted. David also was not overwhelmed as he usually could be but he was comfortable and having fun (as he told me all the details after the proposal).
Overall, it was an amazing experience! Everyone was so lovely and inviting, with no pressure at all. I constantly get compliments on my ring! I will pass down the recommendation train to everyone!!!!

When I started researching jewelers in Chicago The Classic Gem stuck out from their great reviews. After going in for a discovery appointment with my now fiancee, I could totally see why. Kara was so knowledgeable, detail oriented and truly has her client's back. Never once did I feel like anything was being pushed on me but rather trying to help design the perfect ring. Working with Dara was a pleasure as well as his passion for all things gems is known the second you talk to him. I cannot thank this family owned business enough for their personal touch and impeccable attention to detail.
