I love the carcade. Great merch and so many comfy spots for lounging cats. The murals in their new space are so good. We did have a not so friendly interaction with one employee during our visit that was a misunderstanding. But that was a one off and could chalk it up to just that. My experiences here have always been really positive and cat-centered.

Adopted our two cats, Kevin & Beans, from here. Staff is fantastic and is truly the best way to play and vibe with the cats & kittens before adopting. Love this spot!

This place is PUURRFECT!! I have found my new hang-out spot, its clean and comfortable. The staff is great and you can tell they really care about the cats, they are so happy and comfortable around ppl. Hands down by far the best animal shelter experience I have had.

Always a lovely experience, but definitely do not book if you plan to transit and the weather isn’t pristine. You cannot enter the building until precisely your reservation time, so if you’re at the mercy of busses or the L, you may get a sunburn (or drenched and freezing) loitering against a wall for 20 minutes

Went on vacation to come here and pet some cats. 10/10 recommend.
Real talk though, this place is pretty amazing and everyone working there cares immensely about the cats and finding them the best homes. You can just sit and watch whatever movie they’re playing and pet some cats, play the video or arcade games or you can walk around and ensure each cat gets some quality pets and a gentle nose boop.
Bonus: a refreshment is included at the beginning of your reservation that’s included in reservation fee and there’s a good selection.

This is one of my most favorite experiences ever!! The staff is very clear about expectations regarding behavior and treatment of the cats, which is great. All the cats are well-cared for. The cats themselves are so fun to just sit with, watch sleep, or play with! The arcade games are super fun, and the actual space itself is wonderful. HIGHLY recommend.

Absolutely worth visiting if you like cats! The staff are friendly, the cats are cute and playful, and the lounge is nicely decorated. The merch is cool, too.
