Todah rabah first off for helping me get my rent paid when I was incapable of working recently.Secondly, I have the best case manager ever who listens and actually cares! I’ll not name her, but if she’s reading this, she knows who she is.Otherwise, the Ark is a wonderful organization, who accepts ALL Jews. I myself am an African American/Afro-Caribbean/Ashkenazi Jew who proudly represents all my Avot V’imahot and thusly, I am treated with the utmost of respect when I enter the Ark’s doors.I am treated like any other Jew in need and not looked down at, nor my story up for dissection. In fact, everyone there loves to hear how my beautiful family background came to be and how I chose to embrace my Jewishness; I’m making Aliyah next year and everyone there couldn’t be more supportive!I cannot speak on anyone else’s experiences at the Ark, nor will I engage in leshon hurrah.I will wish those who felt slighted the best in this life Hashem gave them and reiterate my gratitude to everyone who cares enough about all of us and their community whether we are Ashkenazi, mixed, Latino, Black or any other ethnicity, we are all Jews and we are all one!I will leave everyone with this…..Hineh ma tov uma na'imShevet achim gam yachad. Erev tov chevrah.

Rebecca is a crazy hag. She not only hits herself when she’s frustrated, but she also calls many people who are part of this organization names. While working with her, I was told many negative things about other people at the organization. Being a jewish African American man, I never felt so discriminated against in a work environment ever. Never again. Do not recommend.

Shame on this organization. They coast along not only as a social service agency but a religious one. They are not an intelligent, sensitive group of people working here. They specialize in sorting food, and doling it out. People need food, but churches give out food, the government gives out food. When it comes to the bigger matters, this organization falls not only short, they damage families. What they did to a single mother who came there with her child is considered murder in (the religious law they are supposed to follow). They turned the child against the mother, caused destruction to this family, when they have a clear road map of how to create peace, they created enmity and destruction to a family. And this says alot about these people (who are of the same faith). Maybe this was a lesson that Jesus is the way. Never would it have become more clear. The Ark is run by evil people.

I have been a member of the Ark for many years and I have grown to appreciate the support from the surrounding community. With all the wonderful and kind workers and members here , the Ark truly is a second home for me . ❤

I may have already bashed the Ark so it must be time to do it again. I find The Ark disappointing. The first thing they want is information on my private finances which is really none of their business. They have a dentist that can save me a lot of money. Maybe 300 bucks. That bothers the hell out of them. Why they should go that far to spare me pain? Let me suffer. That's their motto. Let me suffer. Disappointing as I said.

I cannot say enough good things about this organization. Specifically the help that I have received from Natasha Goldberg has been invaluable. I would have been sunk without her. Thank you, thank you, thank you

I am truly disheartened by this organization. I am reading all previous reviews but I have been reaching out to this place since October 2020 given the fact I live in the 60645 area and have been referred to call here just to constantly get met with disappointment because of my religion or lack of so I can't or won't receive any help! Wow... I am still in a bad situation and I was remaining quiet because of not wantingto stir a pot but I have called again and again and I am still met with the same negative, uncaring and cruel energy. I would love to believe in my heart at especially at this given time that it would be places such as these that would have a more loving heart.
