The staff was great, however, for the price, the chocolate is not as good as it good be. The flavors are there, but the texture is waxy and reminds me of American chocolate like Hersey's.

I went to Teuscher Chocolates in Chicago to check out specifically their champagne truffles. They were truly awesome!! However, I was disappointed to learn that they don't make most of their products on-site, they're more an outlet for European chocolates. They were fine but not really special, especially for the price. The shop is charming and the gal working was good, professional... maybe pack my selections better, $84 tossed into a Chinese food container, cute & practical but a bit clumsy. Go for the champagne truffles, the rest...

Many chocolate shops that are as good or better. His prices are outrageous. I placed an order which triples price for the same last year AND he just charged my card without mentioning the increased price. Do yourself a favor and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

This is the *best* chocolate shop in Chicago. The staff is outstanding! Always friendly and helpful. A joy with which to speak.The chocolates are fresh, yummy, and wonderfully swiss. But make sure you get some of the jellies which are like having a fresh fruit dessert.

It is expensive, yes, but its simply the best chocolate you can buy stateside. The Chicago shop is always expertly curated and the employees are courteous and knowledgeable. Must-visit if you're downtown and appreciate *good* chocolate. Personal favorite is the vodka truffle, but you really can't go wrong at this place.
