Target very close to Navy Pier. Excellent location and with a lake behind to enjoy a good view. It is quite tidy and even has a Starbucks. You can find all kinds of products like in most Target stores. The attention is a bit rude from the employees.

Workers are unprofessional, rude, and always on their phones behind the cash register. Workers at this specific target force costumers to self check out to ovoid doing their jobs, which creats longer lines and waste customers' time without providing any kind of assistance.

This needs to be your first stop if staying in any hotel downtown. The grab and go place in my hotel has sandwiches for $16. Just no. You can get food for an entire day or even two for the same price at Target. Furthermore, this target is right next to Ogden Slip, a great place to sit on the steps and have a picnic-style bite in an upscale, safe area.

Shelves are seldom fully stocked. Even when they are, the prices are pretty outrageous. Cashiers are often pretty rude. It's the closest place for groceries, but I often make a significantly longer trip just to go somewhere better. It's fine in a pinch. That's the best I can say about it.

You call this place Target? It is like Target's long lost relative twice removed hang a shame label. Expect little, get little and pay a lot. Served the purpose as it was an emergency but damn... don't make me do it twice.

They keep making me wait in line for order pickup. The whole point of order pickup is so you don’t need to wait in line???

Target Security at 401 East Illinois St. on Sunday Feb 4, 2024 at 6:15pm - After getting verbally and physically assaulted outside and then while entering the store a total of 4 times, by an unknown individual, security offered the bare minimum of help and assistance. While waiting for police to make a statement, could hear them saying that *I* was the perpetrator because I bumped into the individual who after started verbally and then physically attacking me as I tried to get away from her. They also tried to say that it looked like I kicked the individual attacking me (I absolutely did not), as I never even touched the "person". Security at this location is useless, and I ended up leaving before making a police report as they were taking their sweet time as well. Chicago's Tax Dollars at Work.

Very rude cashier. I wanted to return an item. Two black girls were chatting. I said can someone help me. One girl responded and the other madly stared at me and rolled eyes. The one help me was impatient in the end. She probably thought throwing the receipt at my face is a good idea. This is unacceptable customer service, ruining the target brand. Employees like them should be fired. They earn money for the service delivered, not for being rude to customers. Worst target experience ever.

It's a bit smaller than most of the target store, but it's really good store to visit
