Sandy’s is a great place! It’s family owned, it’s so cute, everyone there is so nice and loves dogs! The devotion to taking care of pups is amazing.

Update: The business contacted me again, continuing to say the issue was my fault. I spoke with other pet owners in the area, and many had similar stories where the groomer blamed them, even though they’ve never had this problem at other places. It’s become evident that the pattern of shifting blame onto pet owners was not isolated. They texted me during an important work meeting to say my dogs’ fur was tangled and they needed to shave them. They didn’t offer any other choices. This was disappointing, as it wasn’t practical for me to leave work suddenly to address this.I was disappointed with my recent experience at the grooming salon. Although the staff performed the grooming with professionalism, they did not deliver the teddy bear cut I specifically requested for my dogs. Instead, my two 9lb toy poodles were completely shaved, including their tails, with the salon attributing this drastic measure to matting - a claim I find hard to accept. I regularly use a dematting brush on them every two days, ensuring their coats were thoroughly brushed before their appointment. Given their size and my careful preparation, I expected a different outcome. Moreover, the service cost over $100. I would have preferred if the groomers had acknowledged a possible oversight or a lack of expertise, rather than attributing the unsatisfactory haircut to my pet care, especially when full price was charged. In my experience, I've encountered superior grooming services at a more reasonable cost and probably will not come back.

Let me just say WOW! I have never had a good grooming experience for my dog, until I found this salon. You can really tell they treat the dogs well during their time there. I usually pick my dog up never getting what I ask for, but this place was so efficient, kind, and did exactly what I wanted. My dog, Oliver and I will be fovever customers

I absolutely hate it . I was being very specific about the style and they let one of the intern groomer Felicia cut my puppy’s hair. I wish somebody would told me that she is new. They gave me time frame 3-4 hours for the cut. They didn’t finish till 4:41 pm. I took him at 11 am in the morning. So it took over 5 hours. And my dog looks like completely ugly. I showed what I ask them to do and this is what they gave me back. Talking about come back next time someone else can do it. If the intern is new don’t let her use my puppy as tranining. So unfair. I’m beyond angry.also with the pricing you mentioned I don’t want anything like the leg or the body. That’s $15 you mentioned. But I doubt checked with you making sure it’s a round face. If Felicia thinks what’s in the picture is a round face then I don’t know how she became a groomer. Come on guys just look at the face. I thought I saw a stray when I picked him up.

Best place to get your dog groomed. I have tried many times to find a place closer to my home without success. They just know what they're doing here and my dog always comes out looking great. Sweet and experienced staff.

My princess looked so gorgeous when I picked her up I couldn’t believe my eyes!!! Missy got the Asian Fusion cut and I’ve never seen anything cuter in my life. It was a huge transformation. We LOVE Sandy’s. The owners are such lovely people and want to make everyone feel so special. I cannot recommend Sandy’s enough!!!

Very terrible groomers and management that make excuses for a very poor job completed. I was quoted $75 by the groomer, then charged $90 for “mats” that did not exist. Anna was our groomer. We discussed that I wanted a round face and longer ears like my pup had in the 1st picture. The 2nd photo was how I picked up my pup and was nowhere near what I had asked for. I also told Anna that my dog was allergic to fragrance. She returned with a floral scent and itching like crazy to the point that I had to re-bathe her. When I contacted the manager, Jessalyn regarding my disappointment, she continued to make excuses, stating that Anna cut into my pup’s face so much trying to “remove tear stains.” Any experienced groomer would know that you cannot cut out staining. Even if she had this thought, she should have contacted me first to let me know prior. The manager agreed to this but nonetheless refused to accommodate. I would have continued going here and have just tried a different groomer. However this salon has zero accountability and will overcharge you for a terrible job completed so I will not be returning.

A few months ago my dog was a regular here. Until he was cut to the point of bleeding - back to back times at his polished pooch appt. The first time the cut was on his back right leg. The second, was his front right paw. I realized his paw was bloody when I was walking him back to the car, and I saw blood on my own hand. I did go back in and make this known, but they seemed bewildered by the situation and tried to wipe his paw (when the groomer approached my sweet dog, he started to squirm and cry… probably not a good sign). The exchange with them voicing our frustration was via email and the response was, not great, and that’s being polite. They didn’t even apologize or ask if he was okay. They told me “it took 3 people to hold down my dog and a MUZZLE to cut his nails” and that’s why he was cut to the point of bleeding. Because he was unruly. My dog is only 14lbs and the sweetest dog. Why would 3 people be need to hold him down and muzzle him. It made me sick. Mind you - we’ve taken him here for 3 YEARS and no one has EVER said he had behavioral issues, in fact, they would always say he was a sweet boy.The reason I feel compelled to write this review now, is that we found a new groomer. After his first full groom, the new groomer told us quote “he is such a gentle dog, doesn’t know how anyone could have an issue with him”.We had good times with Sydney’s, now Sandy’s, in the past - but again, the way the situation was handled was so poor, I would never bring my dog here again.Word to the owners - if any staff cause a dog to bleed, even by accident, you should own up to the mistake and APOLOGIZE; don’t lie and say my dog suddenly has behavioral issues when he is a gentle, well trained dog.

I have very mixed feelings about Sydnee’s. I do like the location and variety of services that are offered but the customer service is a bit inconsistent at times. I’m a bit concerned that my dog is not receiving all the services that I ask for because I’ve paid different prices at times even tho I always request the same service. I’ve also noticed twice now that they did not trim the hair on his paw pads even though I specifically asked them to. I’m a pretty regular customer and try not to make a big deal out of things. I plan on addressing this next time I go in there and will adjust my review accordingly

Update - I'm pretty positive I've reviewed before, but just have to say after 2 years we've been nothing but happy with Sydnee's so they deserve the extra shout out. Every haircut has been top notch and they must take good notes because I never have to go through what we do each time with them. I feel confident when I drop my dog off that he's going to look great and be happy (he loves it there- and our friend's dog even halts in front of their door during walks because she loves going there too!). They are also so good about thoughtfully pointing out anything they observe (e.g., skin allergy, needing a teeth cleaning- which were both very legitimate things our dog had going on but it was nice that they said something when they noticed as well). We're moving and the thought of finding a new place as good as Sydnee's is hard to imagine.
