I was married in this church in 1970. The interior of St Mary's has changed. It gets more beautiful both spiritually and physically. My husband passed away in August of 1977, Donald Robert Mertes. I left Chicago and moved back to California. My parish is St. Jude's in Westlake village in Los Angeles County, California. I am blessed to have married a wonderful man for over 40+ yrs who is a wonderful father to our 3 children. But I will never forget the love I received from the Monsignor, the church community and my husband's family in Edgebrook. ?❤
