Earlier this afternoon I visited South Chicago Dodge, Chrysler Jeep in my search for a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and my experience with salesman Roy was extremely disappointing. I came in with the intention of crunching numbers and exploring leasing options, as I was currently financing a 2021 Buick Envision. Instead of receiving the assistance I was looking for, Roy’s dismissive demeanor and lack of interest in helping me explore my options pushed me right out the door.
I understand that sales can be challenging, but you have to be a human being first before anything. I left feeling unheard and unvalued, which led me to immediately visit another dealership where I am now a proud owner of a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4. Roy’s ignorance and unwillingness to work with me cost the dealership my business.
It was the end of the month, and I was hopeful to give South Chicago Dodge, Chrysler Jeep my business based on previous positive experiences, but this time was a complete letdown. Next time, I will follow my first thought and stay clear of this dealership. If you’re looking for good customer service and someone who values your time and needs, I suggest you do the same and look elsewhere.

Another dealership that posts fake low prices to get you in the door and then sneaks in $3000-$4000 worth of fake fees, not including tax title license

I took my jeep (which I have serviced there since I purchased in 2019 and my dodge Durango before that), to the service department in October of 2023. I noticed bubbling around the bottom of three doors , the hood and the tail gate. I was informed that was early signs of corrosion and I had a corrosion warranty that didn’t expire until August of 2024. They told me to take it to a specific body shop for pictures and verification. I did that right away. I was told everything was set. I also called jeep to create a case number. The dealership said I was a set and they would let me know when the parts came in , not to worry because there was plenty of time on the warranty. I called in April they assured me I was good to go. I called in June to check to see if the replacement parts had arrived. I was told not yet. I called in July and was told there were no parts ordered or coming and they were now saying I had to leave my vehicle with them for at least three weeks and they would see if they could sand out the areas. As I write this today my warranty is about to expire and the problem has not been remedied. DONT KNOW IF YOU CAN TRUST THIER WORD ANY MORE. Very DISAPPOINTING

The car we made an appointment to test drive was not disclosed to us that it doesn't run. We wasted our time and gas going out to the city.

Terrible Service !!!!! The man that was helping me was FALLING ASLEEP !!!!!! than all the cars I inquired about over the phone they waited until I got there to tell me that one of the cars was over heating ! And the other one keeps turning off ! I never leave reviews on anything but they pissed me off ! I would have never went if I knew the cars wasn’t driveable I asked over the phone and they told me nothing was wrong with either cars but high mileage! As I was sitting people kept coming in saying how their car was also TRASH and messing up ! NEVER AGAIN

I came in because my check engine light was on. After getting a diagnostic done at Autozone it said I needed my catalytic converter replaced. It was on recall last year and they replaced it for free. When I recently brought it back it took me some time to speak to the right person but after I did he honored the fact that the part was still on warranty and ordered a new one. When the part came in I bought my car back and it was fixed in a few hours at no cost to me.

I made a appointment for my daughter and they told me they had alot of selections of good cars that was under $3000 it was a lie my daughter told me all of those cars were damaged and barely drivable. She had to go to another dealership to get a car.

Do not take your car here for any repairs. You will regret it. They are not professional and extremely unorganized and will break things on your car on purpose. Please choose another Dodge service repair shop. Both managers there do not care about the customer experience at all. Go somewhere you will be treated with respect and your car will be serviced correctly.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE ! I repeat DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE ! I have never experienced such bad service in my life ! I purchased a car here may 5th and ended up giving the car back may 30th ….. every week I had an issue with the car … car started to over heat and I kept bring it back for repairs and they never found the issue . I barely got a chance to drive it and instead wasting a bunch of money . I finally told them I just didn’t want the car anymore and that’s when they told me “oh the car is not fixable” . I am so disgusted with this dealership !
