As a mother of 4 looking for childcare consistently for a 1 and potty trained 3 years old.... And pop in school age kids 5&7 yr olds. We are a couple of checks$$ but I can see past fake reviews. When I see a 4 star daycare I take an extensive look in between the lines .. and look at thew reviews in-between the reviews. It's sad when directors take advantage of low income areas , paying for unprofessional employees to "save money" and profit from low income families, mistreating small children. I see multiples bad realistic reviews.... A fraudulent 4 star can never fool me

I love this daycare. Ms.Laina & Ms.Andrea always help out in areas I slack in! They provided my son with 2 coats! Also sending my son home with extra clothes & gets him shoes if needed. I absolutely love that I found this daycare!

My son has been here since he was 15 months old he is now approaching 2! He loves it here and is ready to go in and play everyday he barely says goodbye to me anymore? Mrs Frances is usually the first person we see in the Morning and she’s always so welcoming and kind and will answer any questions you have. Ms Julissa is my sons favorite! He loooovvesss her and sometimes don’t even want to leave lol. Love this daycare and all the activities they provide for our little ones to enhance their development.

Idk about the other reviews if their fake or not or just isnt aware…but when i came their for a tour they try to put on a good face but when i walked away and did the paperwork i heard the lady that was teaching the 3 yr olds that “were crying because they couldn’t go outside with the other half” to shut up she was yelling many things i cant remember everything she said but she als said you better put your shirt down..she was talking as if those were her kids like a ghetto momma…parents please check on your kids and the crazy thing is that they say they dont let you walk pass a line when your coming to pick up and thats why but no need because the lady is so loud. Not only that but they are also connected by the infants they dont have any real doors shouldnt your infant be in a peaceful setting? Mines hate noise and to think i was putting mines in their all day crying just bothers me sorry, and the infants were quiet when i saw them but also there is only one infant teacher and when i seen her she had so many kids around her she was looking like she was daydreaming no hello anything and had a infant babygirl sleeping all the way on the side cribs away sleeping on her stomach not even looking at her. So if you care about things like that dont enroll your child here!

I wanted to remain Anonymous, because while I love the day care, sometimes it can be a bit unprofessional and ghetto.. when I come through the door I shouldn’t be able to hear personal conversations between between the straff .. my children are with me and if I can hear it they can hear it.. kinda makes me wonder about what’s being said during the day when I can’t hear.. the ladies should know better than to have those types of conversations in a work place..

I just moved back to Chicago and was having a really hard time finding a daycare for my two boys until Smart From The Start was recommended to me. My babies love the center and sometimes cry when it’s time to leave, lol. They are really good it’s communication and making me aware of all things pertaining to my kids and activities. Both my kids are really fond of Mz. Brittany and Ms. Georgia is my youngest teacher and he always tells me she remind him of his GG. Safe to say they love it here and so do I. ? ? ?

my son have been attending here since april who is a very busy child. from the lady at the front desk who welcomed us with a smile on her face Mrs.Fraces is truly amazing and answered every question i had no matter how crazy it was lol. Thank you. Now to some of my son favorite people these are his words on what he loves about u. He said he likes Mrs. Brittany because he like to play with ur big puzzles and he wish he can be in there. To his teacher Mrs. Georgia he like the way u teaches him and not yell. lol.. and she always coming up with cool things. then there is Mrs Cha Cha bka as Charlotte, he like u and to love u n u always play with him.and he wish to be in after school too. he cant wait to get big. and he like mrs theresa too cuz she leave the baby room and come see him Everyone here is amazing that work here. So i just want to say i highly recommand bringing ur child here.. thank you staff

I wouldn’t recommend this daycare to anyone they received a check care check, and a copayment fee from me and still charge for transportation even tho my child goes to school Monday-Friday 8:30-3:45pm he only would come to the daycare after school for about a hour. They allow other kids to bully my son and nothing has been done about it. Terrible experience and I took my son out.

I have been working a Smart from the start 79 st for over a year now, And I must say this is great daycare environment. I love how the management cares about you as a person as far as your needs for your classroom, how you are feeling/doing everyday. Being here is like being apart of a family

Terrible first experience for a daycare my son is two and never attended daycare before and when I first took him he was so excited everyday for the first week (he only went here for 2-3weeks before I pulled him out) after that I noticed how his mood was changing when I dropped him off that he started crying when it was time for him to go to school the last day he was there they allowed my son to get bit on his nose by another child then after he woke up from his nap he was broke out in hives all over his body and face I even tried to still take him the next day but my baby was screaming crying holding on to his seat because he didn’t want to go into that school so I took him back home they also allowed my baby to get a diaper rash I don’t know what they are doing in there but they are doing something I never saw my son act like this and he is very smart this was not your normal cry because a baby don’t want to go to school someone in that school is mistreating my baby and I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO ANYONE PLEASE BE SMART AND PROTECT YOUR KIDS!!

Everyone from the driver to the teachers, assistant director, and director always greet you every time you come in with a smile. I absolutely love the energy of the daycare and recommend them to anyone with kids.
