lovely little store ran by a kind man! Was very helpful and incredibly knowledgeable about heel sizes. Some might call it clutter but the sheer variety of heels makes it worth it. Hope it continues to stay open cause it's a gem. ?

This is an incredible place for heels. Gary is a life-long expert. I have bought many pairs over the years. Prices are very reasonable. Going here means supporting a queer, locally-owned business. Be sure to call ahead and confirm he's in, as it's all a 1-man show and hey, life happens.

Loved loved this store. Came here looking for dancer heels. Gary was awesome and patient with me, becuase I always struggle finding heels and he let me know my feet were narrow. He helped me find a custom shoe for narrow feet at a great price. He made sure my shoes fit comfortably, he even let me try on a corset, which was a lot of fun. Overall great store he deserves more credit and such a kind soul!! Loved it makes you feel at home the moment you walk in he really builds a bond with his constumers. Walked out with cute shoes!

I came in looking for some heels for very small feet and the owner kindly let me hang around for 2 hours trying on everything he had in 5! I walked out with a very fun pair of heels. Some of the stock is older (due to their sourcing shoemakers closing down) but the owner is very straightforward and will give you a fair price if something is past its prime

Man, I can’t forget this place. Twenty years ago, I was fresh and young and flush with cash, ready to dump a couple of thousand dollars on heels because I could. I’d gone there a few weeks earlier with my best friend where she’d gotten several pairs and was treated with excellent customer service by whom I’d assumed was the owner. When I went in that day for my own spree, I was gushing and, in my giddiness, committed a cardinal sin. I touched a couple of pairs of shoes. Seriously. How gauche of me. Daring to touch the shoes I was going to buy. The same owner(?)/salesperson that had fawned over my friend glared at me and snarled, “You don’t go *touching* things like this.” I froze and they stared me down hard. I was just stunned and mumbled, “I guess I’d better go.” And they snapped, “Yeah, I guess you’d better!” And that was that. I left, never to return. Now, this was in 2000 and I’m going to hope it’s a different owner, (or maybe it wasn’t the owner but a really terrible clerk), but I can’t assume. Still one of the worst customer experiences of my life and impressions like that stick with you.

I'm currently in transition and as a result, I have a hard time finding boots and shoes that will fit me properly. He went through multiple styles in my size until we found a knee high boot that will serve me well! Anyone looking for heels in sizes 4-17 needs to look here!

Omg i love this shoe store. They have EVERYTHING! From subtle to way out. Service is phenomenal. The owner really knows his shoes and what inventory is available. Hw is passionate about the shoe industry. I bought my first pair of thigh high boots here over 30 years ago. They skyrocketed my career. Now, im a slightly simple girl, with a shoe fetish. This is The place to go. If youre looking for simple sexy heels, its the place to go. If you are looking for extreme fetish shoes or boots, place to go. And they have everything in between.

Will update if I can ever shop there again, but wasted 2 hours driving into the city today because he apparently takes random trips, closing the shop and not updating anything online. I was so excited to finally be able to afford the awesome shoes they sell again, especially now that I'm a foot model, but now I have to go find whatever other shoes I can for my trip and photoshoots in Los Angeles. This was supposed to be a highlight of my trip, having Skyscraper Heels again. I literally don't know where else to look now. Such a wasted day.

I took my wife to get her first corset and high quality leather boots, all items that cannot buy in line, but must be tried on to get the right fit. Skyscraper Heels is one of the last stores that specialize in these items and custom fitting. After trying 16 corsets we left with one that fit perfect and she loved, plus a pair of knee lace up boots, shoes and couple other items all without busting the bank. Highly recommend this store for these special items.
