Colleen at Silver Moon did such an amazing job with my wedding dress! This is a Sarah Seven dress that I was very nervous about having altered. Colleen answered all my questions, explained the process, and made me feel so comfortable. The end product was EVERYTHING! Silver Moon was also so accommodating to my time line and my overall schedule. They made this part easy!! Highly highly recommend.

Silver Moon did the most magnificent job altering my 1960s vintage wedding dress (which both my mom and grandma wore before me!) for my wedding this summer. I went in for multiple fittings to get it just right and each visit they were extremely attentive to detail, knowledgeable about what the vintage material could and couldn't accommodate, and supportive in making my vision for the dress a reality. The final product was more beautiful than I could have imagined with newly constructed cap sleeves using applique from the dress and a perfectly fitted bodice and bust section. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day, in large part thanks to Silver Moon's work. I highly recommend working with Silver Moon!

The team at Silver Moon is amazing! I took my dress there for alterations. They were quick, wonderful to work with, and absolute experts. The design of my dress makes a traditional bustle very difficult, so they put in a system of loops and snaps that will shorten the dress with no adverse effect on the beautiful fabric. I’ll be able to dance without a care in the world! AND I got my wedding shoes here---SO comfortable and gorgeous. I also picked up a great pair of vintage earrings. Cannot say enough about this place! Thank you, Silver Moon. :)

I can’t say enough about my experience with Silver Moon! I purchased my dress and had my alterations here. Liz was so incredible to work with. The dress I ended up purchasing was actually the one she pulled for me. Liz has a great eye for fashion and design so it was incredibly easy working with her and explaining/executing what I wanted. Liz also altered heirloom gloves for me and did a fantastic job. Everybody loved my dress and said it was “so my style”. If you’re a unique bride looking for a beautiful vintage dress I 1000% recommend Silver Moon!!!

Silver Moon is an incredibly unique place in a world of mass produced wedding dresses / gowns. They were able to create something truly one-of-a-kind and captured my sentiment with each meeting and fitting. I was left with the most beautiful wedding dress that I would have never been able to find in a stone. Also, Colleen is a very talented artist / seamstress - there's very little she can't do!

I cannot recommend Silver Moon enough for wedding gown alterations. My dress came in at least two sizes too big with an intricate design on the back. I was so nervous about the alterations considering all the lace (and the timing - the dress came just two months before the wedding). The team did a great job on the alterations and also showed me several options for the bustle. The price was quite reasonable as well. It all worked out perfectly and the staff was so amazing and reassuring through the entire process. They also sell wonderful accessories and other vintage items!

Liz and Colleen at Silver Moon took amazing care of me over the year and a half I spent with them. They tailored my ceremony dress from BHLDN, who originally referred me to them. Did an initial consultation after purchasing my dress to determine whether I needed to size up. Their honest recommendation to keep the current size as a larger one would be unnecessarily more expensive to alter made me feel comfortable working with them for alterations.Through a total of 3 fittings, Liz and Colleen adjusted the straps, took in the bust and hips, hemmed the dress and did the bustle, always patiently walking me through each proposed change and getting my feedback. They made sure to give context on each change, recommending to take in the hips as the crepe fabric would expand when steamed. Ultimately, the dress turned out better than expected, and I felt beautiful and totally myself on the big day. I also purchased the Ariel veil at Silver Moon, which felt classic and bridal. Highly recommend working with Liz and Colleen. You will have peace of mind that your voice will be heard, and your dress is in very capable hands!

I was on the fence about some aspects of my wedding dress and they came up with a suggestion I hadn’t even thought of which turned out absolutely gorgeous. I purchased my wedding dress at BHLDN and had it altered at Silver Moon and I must say that the Liz did an excellent job. She were very thorough in the assessment of my dress and made recommendations for the alterations that needed to be made. She took the time to explain everything to me in detail and made sure that I was comfortable with the changes that were being made. The quality of her work was exceptional and the final result was nothing short of amazing. I would definitely recommend Silver Moon for anyone who wants their wedding dress to fit like a glove.

I purchased my wedding dress from BHLDN and went to Silver Moon for alterations per BHLDN's recommendation and could not have been more pleased! Liz did an absolutely AMAZING job of altering my dress and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Liz was professional, friendly, and incredibly skilled at her craft. Silver Moon was incredible to work with! I waited far, far too long to start my wedding dress alterations and they were able to accommodate my tight timeline. My dress was two sizes too small (I was definitely over ambitious about my "shredding for the wedding") and they didn't bat an eye. Due to their focus on vintage-wear, they are very used to reworking clothes for fit. I felt heard and everyone in the shop was so kind. They took some extra fabric from the skirt and built out two additional panels that seamlessly blended into the dress. I was so happy with the fit and the interactions. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for bridal alterations.
