I bought a soup cream of cauliflower and got a soup loaded with broth and additional to that they put pasta shells in it instead it tasted terrible had to flush down the bowl

I had a return, and before I bought the item, I asked the cashier if the return was something I could do if the item didn’t fit and she told me of course as long as you have the receipt, I came back the same day to the archer store to make a return and they called a manager Saragon. He was nasty and told me he will take a loss because of me. He needs to learn how he speaks to people and work on his customer service skills. Lady in customer service also should do same. Horrible place to do business at.

The only reason I keep shopping at this store, is because they have a good selection and for things they have that are FRESH and NOT EXPIRED. Their deli section, however, has been a disappointment to me on a number of occasions. I have gone there to buy soups and other prepared items, only to realize that they are DAYS old and still sitting on the shelf. One time when I asked the manager about the shelf life, I was told 5 days...another time I was told 10 days. Seriously?!? Who wants to eat what are supposed to be freshly made deli/prepared items that have been sitting on the shelf for more than 2 days already?? I often times want to go home and save some for leftovers for another day or two, but can't because the food is already so dated! I have had to return breaded meat before, right after buying it, because my SERATTED knife wouldn't even cut through it because it was so stale! On a couple other occasions, I had to return pastas because as soon as I got home and opened the container, I could smell that it was rancid! Now, whenever I go to the store, I am very careful to check the "packed" date, so I don't needlessly spend my money and have to waste time returning an item(s). Whenever I have brought this up with the manager, I am always told that they will talk to the deli people, but then I go back and it's the same situation. I am just shocked that a grocery manager would think that it's okay to continue to sell deli items that are more than 2 or 3 days (at the most) old...and especially at regular price. Some places will at least hurry up and mark-down items they want to get rid of, before they would expire...or perhaps they should just stop making such big batches/quantities, that they have so much left-over, still trying to sell for days. I told the manager that one day, someone is going to get very sick because of the store's practice and am surprised the health department hasn't already been involved. Just beware, especially if you shop the deli section. I wish I could have given this store a 4 or 5 rating, but for this reason, I just can't.

We enjoy shopping at the Archer store and have so for many years. The smoked kielbasa is really good quality and priced pretty well considering our inflationary conditions throughout our economy.What happened to the fresh kielbasa. Going from a range of 99 cents to $1.99 about 3 years ago to $3.99 is one thing. The quality was always really good. Not anymore. No flavor except for salt. Very little black pepper or garlic. Anyone can make a bad batch but we have it four shots and the quality and taste aren't there. Quality meaning even the sausage consistency isn't there.The in store pierogi, kapusta, potato pancakes and sops are still 5 star. Please review what's happened to the fresh Polish Sausage. Cleanliness and produce still very good.

Would like to rate better, but can’t. Their deli department is a circus. They’ve had bulbs flashing for the last 10 years over the deli counter that finally went out. The young workers seem to always be in a bad mood and seem to enjoy making customers wait as long as possible. It’s a shame to have to drive west to a suburb to have decent service, while living 2 min away. Please do better!
