I stopped patronizing this business along time ago but I had forgotten why. Well I recently visited the store and instantly got reminded why I will never spend my money at shoetime!The shoes are of poor quality, the women in the store follow you around the store not allowing you to browse in peace. The staff literally stand over you while you're trying on a shoe making you feel extremely uncomfortable shopping. The lady said I had to try on shoes upfront for security reasons but she really meant because she thought I was going to steal. They automatically assume you're stealing before giving you a fair chance to even prove that you're a paying customer. It's sad because the staff were black women who absolutely knows how it feels to be prejudged for stealing. It might not be a black owned business but I was willing to support. Never will I ever! The shoes are very unorganized and are not arranged in no particular order. I didn't feel welcome. I had every intention on purchasing a pair of shoes or two before feeling unwelcome by the staff in the store. I will not spend my money anywhere that I don't feel welcome.
