We've enrolled in Puppy Social and Basic Manners for our puppy as well as utilized their boarding services. We've been tremendously pleased with the training staff - in particular, Coralyn - and the kennel staff. The team is incredibly well-educated in dog training and dog behavior while also being very people-focused. You receive such dedicated and individualized focus even in a group class. We'll continue with their more advanced obedience classes!

See Spot Run has been an absolute savior for my reactive dog Roy and me. The whole team is extremely experienced, kind, and caring -- every time I drop Roy off, it's like he's being welcomed home. Roy and I have had particularly wonderful experiences with Taylor Duffy -- she quickly learned Roy's triggers and preferences, and was able to use them to help improve his behaviors. Taylor helped me anticipate and understand Roy's reactions to different environmental stimuli, and how to manage them to reduce his (and my!) stress. Not to mention, Roy is absolutely obsessed with her -- if I weren't so grateful that he loves her so much, I might get jealous!

There are not enough words to describe how grateful I am for these kind human beings. We started seeing See Spot Run in the fall of 2020. We adopted a dog that could uproot and drag my partner into the street if he thought he saw or heard a bicycle. We were in way over our heads. Ruth met with us once a week for about a year. We started taking group classes on zoom. When the world started opening up we got to go to go to in-person group classes. We started on the outskirts and have worked our way in. We are now playing musical chairs, participating in relay races, and comfortably hanging out with the rest of the class! Coralyn, Taylor, and Matt have taught our dog Charlie so many useful, silly, and practical skills! I usually know how to tell and what to do when he is triggered (or about to be). We have come so far! I have the journal entries to prove it! We keep taking classes because we love learning and See Spot Run makes it fun! An engaged dog is a happy dog. Charlie is never going to be the dog I can take to a coffee shop, but he is now the dog who can sit calmly next to me in a park and I love that for us.

See Spot Run is absolutely fantastic. This was my first foray into dog ownership and all of the trainers and staff at See Spot Run are absolutely wonderful! Beyond being super knowledgeable, it is clear that they have a passion as well as a genuine love and appreciation for dogs. Macy has attended the board and train program, numerous classes and heads to day school on a weekly basis. She has made tremendous progress and is literally a dream dog. She is always excited for day school and her classes...thanks so much to the See Spot Run team for all that you do for pets and owners!

See Spot Run helped me change my relationship with my rescue dog. I had tried a few other trainers in the area, even in-home trainers, and nothing clicked. See Spot Run were the perfect fit for us. The entire team is so kind, the training sessions were fun, they allowed my family to participate and even encouraged it, which was such a win! My dog now does daycare and boarding there as needed, and we have nothing but amazing things to say about our experience. Highly recommend if you're in the market for training, daycare, boarding, or just a general consult!

My dog loves going to See Spot Run! He practically breaks through the door to get inside. He is well taken care of there.

Working with See Spot Run has been an amazing experience for us. After adopting a dog who had more behavior issues than we realized, or were prepared for, we started private sessions with Ruth. We have learned so much about training and enrichment from Ruth and Coralyn that our dog’s behavior issues have improved significantly. We can’t wait to keep the training going to help our dog become the best version of herself.

I've been taking my dog to See Spot Run for a few weeks and I've seen so much progress! My dog is a rescue, about 1.5 y/o and is a hyper pit bull mix. It was a struggle to walk her, getting her to calm down, listen to commands and socialize her. Coralyn was our trainer and she is excellent. She is very patient, knowledgable and has helped us tremendously. My dog adores her and we love working with her. I highly recommend Coralyn and I've told all my friends to take their pups to See Spot Run.

Ruth is the Owner of See Spot Run, and I highly recommend her - even this is an understatement. I've worked with Taylor too, and she is great. Dog training is Ruth's life. She understands dogs and dog behavior. It shows in every session. She is straightforward and honest, so she won't waste your time or money. I came to her with a very difficult problem: dog-on-dog resource guarding. My sweet Schnauzer mix did NOT like when I brought home a new dog. He would growl, show his teeth, and snap at the new dog. My Schnauzer mix was very jealous when I would pet or brush the new dog. When the two dogs got into a spat, barking, growling, and snapping at each other, over a tennis ball, I knew I had to do something ASAP. So, I called Ruth immediately! BTW - She is very responsive. She told me that dog-on-dog issues are difficult, and my best bet was to prevent the situation from occurring in the first place. After telling her more about the situation, she agreed to do a session with me, but told me not to get my hopes up. She asked a lot of questions, for example, she wanted to know the layout of my house. This is because she wanted to know that I could go home and recreate the exercises shown in the session. During the session, I brought both dogs in, and she showed me three exercises. They were easy to recreate at home without having to buy any new equipment. All I needed were treats and a leash. I went home, and I did the exercises just like we practiced, and WITHIN A WEEK my Schnauzer mix was CUDDLING up to the new dog. I could not believe my eyes!! Ruth will not admit it, but SHE WORKS MIRACLES! She solved my problem in ONE SESSION! I am glad I caught this early and got professional help! Best case scenario. THANK YOU RUTH!

There are not enough stars in the world for how amazing See Spot Run is! We have known Ruth almost since the beginning. We had a very rambunctious, silly Vizsla 17 years ago and Ruth knew exactly how to work with him - she helped us train him to become the most loyal, well-mannered four-legged companion that there is. Ruth has also helped us out more recently with a difficult situation with one of our dogs, and she has met us every step of the way with wisdom and compassion. Your search for training, day care and boarding will stop with See Spot Run once you meet Ruth and her staff.
