If you’re looking for authentic clothing and products, this is the place to go. They have an extensive line of men and women’s clothing where most places only carry women’s. The whipped Shea butter is amazing and comes in original or a variety of scents. The owner is knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely return.

Beautiful store! Great customer service ? I Went this past Wednesday for a last minute outfit for my church’s Black History Ceremony and Dominic the owner, was very helpful and prompt in assisting me find this beautiful shirt and matching head wrap! I received so many compliments ! Thank you Sage and Shea I will definitely be back!

I love it here... I purchased so many beautiful outfits, I can't wait to show them off. I can't forget to mention the good smelling oils...I love oils ?BONUS the owner treated me like a superstar. GOOD customer service hard to come by these days...however my experience today at Sage and Shea African Store was excellent. I can't wait to go back.Sage and Shea African Store deserves 100 stars ?

Dominic is wonderful. The shop has so much to offer! Please get some of the Shea butter. It’s so smooth and soft and smells wonderful. The smell of the Shea butter lasts all day and moisturizers my skin very well.

The store is beautiful and the owner is nice. I brought my childrens clothing here. Everything fit perfect and the price was well under what I was expecting. He also has shea butter,incense,waistbeads, and jewelry.

Visited this store after seeing my neighbor with the cutest waist beads. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by Mohammad, the store owners brother, he assisted me in choosing out the perfect set of beads and placing them on. Mohammad was very warm and friendly. The store is so colorful with many traditional African clothing. The welcoming scent throughout the store sparks curiosity and invites you to look around the array of skincare products and beautiful jewelry. I look forward to returning and I'm very happy with my new waist beads!

Great variety of African clothes, fabric and accessories. Super friendly, not pushy and my new go to place for headwraps. I don't live close to it but I'll always make a trip out bc it's worth it. Highly recommend you check it out

WOW! I LOVE the new store SAGE & SHEA clothing store on 35th & Halsted.The store looks and smells amazing. I stay in there for hours at a time.The owner Dominic really LOVES his customers. He has a great eye as to what looks good on you. Let him pick an outfit for you to try on. Just try it on and you will be amazed. The clothes alone has a great personality of its own. No worries if you not like bright colors. There’s colors in your taste. But bright colors do make you feel ALIVE and happy. Dominic has such a great personality. They also have a lay-away. You must come in and browse around in the store. It’s not only clothes. The store has fragrance oils, Shea butter, men items, kids stuff, jewelry, incense, soaps, head coverings, belts, purses, material, etc., just to name a few. The store has a variety of great items. You will LOVE IT. Come for the experience. Give a good comment of your experience. Bring a friend or two. JUST BE HAPPY and enjoy life and this amazing store Sage & Shea.

This is a fabulous new clothing shop! There are so many GORGEOUS patterns and styles! I bought a birthday outfit for me and for my sister. The prices are very reasonable because it's quality material. The owner Dominic is extremely kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Great location! I'll definitely be returning again and again! Such a hidden gem!! I drove past Sage and Shea by chance today and saw the bright colors and dazzling patterns in the window. I decided I had to turn around and check it out, and I’m so glad I did! The store is beautiful and Dominic is very helpful and nice to chat with. The clothing was reasonably priced and both pieces I purchased came with a matching hair scarf! I’m in love, I’ll definitely be checking this place out again next time I’m in the area and I highly recommend you do too :)
