For years, I used to bring all of my Mercedes here for cleaning, detailing, etc. and stopped some years ago. I decided to give them another try this past Saturday and following my experience, I remembered why I stopped coming here. I had to walk around the car asking them to dry the excess water off of my car. As I am driving, I noticed the carpet had not been thoroughly vacuumed and the inside had not been wiped down. When I got home and exited my car, I noticed the wheels had not been cleaned at all. I got back in my car and drove all the way back to the their location; however, when I arrived, they were closed. Eddie agreed to take the cost of the wash off of my next service which was supposed to be an exterior buffing. To add insult to injury, I looked at my credit card statement this morning and noticed I was overcharged for the service. Seriously? I paid extra for awful, shoddy service. NEVER again!

I came in for a car wash and asked if they could wipe the interior down after noticing they didn’t wipe the interior I pointed it out and the manager not only gave me attitude but the guys working on the car kept looking around and at me in the waiting room acting shady never had a bad experience with them till then they still didn’t really do anything with the interior! I had to finish cleaning it!

For a car wash, go to the superior location. The one off North Avenue, I could have washed my own car in the parking lot by the time they got around to me. Slow af.

Ricardo had me taken care of, I could rest easy knowing they knew how to deal with my insurance. As soon as my insurance verified the work being done and what damages were from the accident we were able to get the car detailed and painted in what felt like less than three days since approval. Solid work, and the car looks better than when I bought it! Even included three free washes. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking body detailing and painting. Especially if you have good insurance.

I’ve been taking my car here for years for the hand wash and have been very happy. Great staff. Once in awhile they miss a spot in the interior but they take care of it as soon as I point it out.Recommend pre-paying for the 10 pack as lowers the price a decent amount per wash (around $10/ wash?)Just had them also repair/re-paint front pumper damage and tint the front windows. Only took them 2.5 days and turned out great.

This is going to be a different review! I have been taking my cars to River North Hand Car Wash for at least 17 years! From my first car, a Honda Prelude, my classic car, a 1965 Pony Edition Convertible Mustang, to my current car, a BMW SUV... Abel & Eddie have been taking care of & over-seeing the great care of my cars in "all things aesthetic!"Hand washing & detailing every crack & crevice. Vacuuming. Hand drying each bead of water with care by their great crew! They do a tremendous job each wash. If feel like I get my money's worth! Now I'm going to tell you why I'm happy to know them & why I'm glad they're in our neighborhood! They very well could have saved my life! I was walking home from the bank one afternoon about four years ago. (Summer, 2019). I noticed a white van following me down Clark. Driving slowly & saying "things" to me. I walked South then ran across Chicago Ave to walk West. The white van followed. I started to get even more nervous as I looked for a police car. (I left my phone at home, charging). I quickly turned South , again, on Orleans. Once on Orleans, the van pulled up to me, again! Beeping & trying to get my attention...I was really scared at this point, folks! THIS IS A REAL LIFE EVENT! Not knowing what to do as I was "speed walking" at this point, I realized I was close to people I know! I was close to River North Hand Car Wash & Detail! I made a bee-line to them as I was practically running as I turned the corner off Orleans & West, again, on Superior. The white van STILL FOLLOWED ME! I literally ran in to Abel's arm & could hardly talk I was so upset & rattled! I finally blurted out "I'm being followed," as I pointed to the white van which had pulled over. Abel & another gentleman approached the white van & the driver took off! I ecstatically elated!The guy in the white van was gone! But, I still had to get home ...!The "other gentleman," happened to be in town from Florida & said "here, let's go! I'll give you a ride."I finally was safe & relieved! Once home, I did call the police & it was a validated concern. My point being is River North Hand Car Wash is & will always be "family" to me! They didn't have to help me, but, they did. *The "other gentleman" I later found out, was THE OWNER! Thank you, , kind sir! You were my knight in shining armor! Thank you,! On a side note, River North Hand Car Wash & Detail also does dent & collision damage repair! They just did a fantastic my window tinting, too! Thank you Thank you Thank you !Obviously, I highly recommend!
