There were many chairs to choose from. The staff were able to help me understand the various types of chairs so I could know what would best suit me. The prices were good.

If you're setting up an office RUN don't walk to Office Furniture Center!This wonderful store was more than an errand to me. It was an experience! I truly felt like a kid in candy-land shopping for my first ergonomic chair for my new work from home job.Especially because you take an elevator up in to the show room. It felt like an amusement park ride entrance. When the doors part and you see the GIANT well organized clean selection of office chairs and office furniture. It's like seeing color for the first time in the Wizard of Oz!I went to another office liquidator before coming here, I have no shade to throw at the first place, but Office Furniture Center was a whole other league compared to the first place. The first place had about 50 chairs or so in a warehouse for you to look at--while you can definitely find a good chair that way, it could hardly compare to the quality and selection and Office Furniture Center.Office Furniture Center has about every chair I could have possibly imagined when I was trawling the internet for ergonomic office chairs.As compared to the first place, the quality is certainly better. I attribute this to perhaps the sheer quantity of every chair they have. They don't have just a couple to try of each model. There is at least like 10 of each one! So, if you have your doubts about if there could be an issue... look at all of the 10, to dozens of other ones of the same model and get the best one. I was absolutely a kid in a candy store! Although, all of them seemed to be in great shape.They are incredibly fair with pricing too. You would think that for such an amazing experience and the quality of the set up they have that the prices might be a little bit more to reflect that. Not so! The prices were the same as you would see anywhere online for office liquidators, but I honestly think the quality of the chairs outshined what you could expect form other outfits.Just about all the chairs were pristine, but I came to see a Herman Miller Sayl chair that was priced $150 less than what I had seen anywhere else. I called asking about it on the phone if they still had it and why was it less (because they also had ones at the usual price.). Luca was very clear about the little tear in the seat and that it had fixed arms (most of the other ones they had had adjustable arms.)When I went to see it, I found he could have not been more honest or accurate in his description!We got there 30 minutes before they closed and perhaps I should feel ashamed that I kept them open late as I tried so many chairs. And spend so much time going between the Sayl chair and the Steel Case Amia making adjustments and really taking my time with the Buriden's ass dilemma of being unable to decide between two great choices. By the way, I asked the sales associate if there was a chair I might like knowing that I really liked the Sayl and she recommended the Amia. She was right!The owner of the store also stayed late with my friend and I and it was so clear the love and passion he had for this business. I have to imagine that they don't make their bucks on lil ol me buying a single office chair. Probably they do more in big orders of people outfitting entire offices. But they made me feel like the most special girl in the world haha.I am talking about the chair because that's what I came for, but they also have wonderful deals on any office furniture. Reception furniture, filing cabinets, standing desks, standing desks. They had a bunch of monitors too for $10! They were honest about the quality of them, but $10 is still a steal!Anyway, if you made it this far... what are you still doing here? GO GET YOUR CHAIR!

The people who staff Office Furniture Center are extremely knowledgeable- they make it an easy process for you- they are located at 4800 W Roosevelt where there is plenty of free parking. It's a huuuuuuuge 250k square foot warehouse loaded with new options and with quality, preowned premium furniture such as Steelcase, Herman Miller, Haworth, HON, Allsteel , etc. I just got a new job where I will be working remotely from home and all I had was a hard kitchen chair with a pillow- if you are in the market for a chair or desk or shelving for your home office and or your regular office you should give them a call! I just obtained this lovely preowned Steelcase mesh back adjustable lumbar centric chair for a great price and it was delivered a day or so later by their MAC moving staff. Love it! Came in for a vari desk for my office and found exactly what I needed. Grisell was incredibly helpful and kind, showing me all the models they had in stock and asking me questions to help me determine what would be my best set up. Best of all, Grisell didn't try to upsell me or even convince me to buy the most expensive model. Grisell was super knowledgeable and just great to talk to. I will definitely be back!!

Needed an office chair for my work from home set up, Luca was incredibly helpful and just an all around good guy. Can't lie, I was in a rotten mood - the trip over was frustrating but he made the trip 100% worth it.Very knowledgeable about the inventory, respected my budget, ran through my options and then gave me some space to make a decision. All sales reps should aspire to be like Luca! Will definitely recommend this to any family or friends needing office equipment.Walked out with an $1,100 chair I purchased for about $300. Thanks for your help Luca!
